Tha's my concern how thick is it there with out a boss, the hole for the temp sending unit has a boss, so that makes me think it should have one too.

there's this stuff called marine tex, strong stuff, you can actually drill and tap it. Don't know if it can handle atf. I think it can but don't have it anymore, easy to get from a marine store

have you tried to run a new wire from the sending unit to the gauge, just tie wrap it for now, nothing perfect, just to see if the wire to the gause is not damaged somewhere, just a thought, I tried it on mine, I think my problem was bad grounding to the dash or something to do with the dash...

Hello all, someone told me that I can buy a radio that looks like my original but is all updated circuitry and has bass, stereo...etc. Dose anyone here know of something like this. I would like to keep the look of the original and I do not want to butcher my glove box and put a stereo in there...

Actually I'm using the chrysler electronic ignition, using the msd will make it better mpg, car runs real smooth at 3000 rpm's, don't know what the mpg are, never took it on a big trip.
