    Straight swap is easier than a build if you are in a hurry. Also if you want to build the original engine do it while you are driving the car with the swapped engine in it so you aren't in a hurry if its your first build...that way you enjoy the car while figuring out what you want to do with...

    I once helped a friend install a 383 with 727 in a 69 dart. Fender well headers and engine plate. It was an experience. Had to set the rear up also get pinion angle and weld the perches.

    I don't have a Barracuda but I used Re pops on my Dart and had no issues. Id call re pops again see what they say. Unless its specific to Barracuda they should have worked IMO.

    Moving like a swivel is normal but moving in and out in a hammering like motion is worn out, as in the socket is egged and there is play between ball and socket.

    I like dyno and flow bench stuff the guys who port 318 heads just to say they were ported I figure its a waste of time without proof that it actually worked.

    Accurate exhaust should have stock head pipes also. They are 1 7/8 inch I believe probably not ideal for a header application you'd probably want to go 2 inch up to 2 1/4 or 2 1/2...

    Make sure the pan flange is straight, don't over torque . Don't use cork if you don't have to. Silicone where the end seals meet the flat gasket.

    lack of ethics and integrity also...not knowing right from wrong etc. Its everywhere today, no accountability etc. Not to get toof ar into it but China has been ripping off bfrand name guitar manufacturers for years let use Gibson Les paul for example. Then some guy in the USA buys one for $400...

    If UTG has a 273 Commando the block is cracked ,and he sold the valve covers, intake and adjustable valvetrain long ago to pay the electric bill at his shop... :lol:
