5.7 Hemi into an old Suburban.

I have just started a 5.7 hemi swap into a '68 2wd Suburban (partially for the power, partially to piss off the Chevy guys). I have a complete 2005 half ton Dodge pickup donor. I plan to use the complete motor/trans (auto), along with the stock gauges from the Dodge. I know there are a lot of...

    Which Magnum flywheel to purchase

I am getting to order a flywheel for my slightly modified 360 Magnum that will be going in my Demon. Looks like the choices are the Mopar P5249842 and the Mcleod 464102-15A. The main difference I see is the MP flywheel weighs 18.5 lbs and the Mcleod 30 lbs. Any suggestions? Car will have some...

    360 Magnum question

I found a new in the crate 360 Magnum engine and I am thinking of putting it in my 4 speed Demon. I did a little research on what needs to be done to install it in place of a standard small block. Are there and cheap mods that can be made to it to bump up the performance? Was told that shaving...

Cheap and easy fix that got my wagon up and running again!

After driving my Valiant wagon home the other night, I found it was leaking fuel from the sending unit in the front of the gas tank. I pulled it apart and found the sending unit gasket had seen its last day of usefullness. After an unsuccessful trip to the Oreilly's down the street for some...

    Buyer beware!

Just a warning, do not conduct business with Rob at Midwest Performance Products in Diller Nebraska. He sells questionable quality parts, does not stand behind his work or the parts he sells. The Pro Comp CNC castings are pretty nice, the valves, springs etc. he installed are JUNK! The springs...

Any thoughts on what my Demon might be worth?

I have a 1971 Demon Sizzler. It is a roller, no motor or transmission (was a 318/auto), and is a full project. It has minimal rust (has a spot under the battery). The car is very straight, all glass is good as well as the grill and tail lights. It was B5 blue from the factory (have not seen any...

Late model exhaust manifolds in an early A-body

Just got done installing exhaust manifolds from a 1992 Dakota into my 1965 Valiant wagon. I did have to do a little "massaging" on the drivers side manifold (as seen in the first picture). I did install the manifolds after the motor was installed, you will need to use bolts only (no studs) to...

I am trying to identify a cam I pulled out of a small block. The only numbers I can find are 930503 on the dist. gear end of the cam (see photo) other than some casting numbers in between some of the journals. There is a little purple paint sprayed on the cam. Any thoughts as to what this is?

    1971 Demon Sizzler

Hello all, I'm new to the site. I picked up a '71 Demon Sizzler earlier this year. The car is B5 blue w/white stripes, 318/auto, full project but very straight. Motor and trans are gone. Does anyone have somewhat accurate production numbers for these? I've seen a full range of production...
