[FOR SALE] Fresh Small Chamber 915 J-Heads

Chambers are about 63-64 cc. Really nice heads, just too racy for the pump gas 360 in my truck.

[FOR SALE] Fresh Small Chamber 915 J-Heads

These were still in the sealed machine shop bags, when I got them. They have not even had core plugs installed. They came from the estate of a class racer. They have been milled, and the chambers are small. They are mildly ported, as the pics show. Looks to me like they did a nice job, without...

Looking for info on a Manley big block cam 17383

Finally identified it. A guy on FBBO confirmed it's a Manley "white box" 292 cam, same grind as this Lunati. The .512 lift is with 1.6 rockers.

    Forum Software Upgraded

The pop up ads make it about as annoying as moparts! You try to x them out and they won't even close. No, I don't want to pay for a gold membership. You're still getting paid for all the other ads we (non-gold members) put up with, but these are too much!

[SOLD] Direct Connection Mechanical 6-Pack Carbs

They're all on the same side, I just took the fitting out to show the threads. The only numbers I could find on the center carb are on each side of the body, and the top corner of the air horn.

[SOLD] Direct Connection Mechanical 6-Pack Carbs

Outboards are DC 4783 500 cfm mechanical. I was told the center carb was an original 6-Pack carb with the choke horn milled. The only numbers I can locate are probably just casting numbers, and are shown in the pics. I am not a 6-Pack expert, these carbs came with an engine I bought. I was told...

My Valve Spring Compressor - Heads On/In Car

No issues, even extended way out, it worked fine with the Lunati double springs, 336 lbs open, 402 lbs/in. No need for a brace.

My Valve Spring Compressor - Heads On/In Car

Thanks guys! I use an old plug wire with the distributor boot cut off, coiled in the cylinder. The spark plug boot eliminates worrying about it dropping in, it's easy to clean each time, and no worries about air pressure failing. It just takes some practice on where to set the cylinder before...

    REMFLEX GASKETS BLOW OUT

Three sets later, I'm done with Remflex. I can think of very few other products people rave about, that suck so bad! Every set leaked, and tore up coming off. Taylor Cable Seal 4 Good are all I'll use anymore. They sealed better on my run stand without nuts the end studs, than the Remflex ever...

My Valve Spring Compressor - Heads On/In Car

I ended up needing to install fresh valve springs in my truck. All I had was a cheapy screw type compressor, with the fingers that grab the springs. They are not too horrible, for what they cost, but are completely useless when it comes to INSTALLING double springs. That left me looking for a...

Looking for info on a Manley big block cam 17383

It's a fresh build for a drag car, that's been sitting 25-30 years. Yeah, I figured 107 might be the LSA. Nick did all the engine work for Ed Hamburger back in the day. I'm sure he used it for a reason. I was just hoping to find specs, or maybe even a cam card while I'm waiting to hear back from...

Yeah, I found that, too, thanks Rob. This came out of that engine built by Nick Tosi, I'm reaching out to Nick as well.

Thank you! Where did you find the info? From the little mention I did find on Moparts, somebody said they were "cheater cams".

Looking for info on a Manley big block cam 17383

Looking for specs on this old Manley cam out of a 440. Only markings I can find are shown. "Manley" and "17383" on the snout, and it looks like "107" on the shaft, a few paint bands and dabs. I believe it is a "Thunderstick" , but am coming up dry searching the internet, including Manley's...

Is that just sealer on the top bolt threads? Not a Moroso mount, but I would think that would work fine.

[WANTED] Need a single solid motor mount for SB A-Body

I know a lot of people buy a set, and only use one, so I thought I'd ask if anyone has one laying around. Thing is, I need it pretty quick, though. Thanks!

    Hamburger/Batchelder time machine

As old as it is, this thread just popped up in my alerts. Such a cool car! In a strange twist of fate, I now own a 440 built by Nick Tosi. When I was talking to Nick about it, he mentioned he did a lot of engine stuff for Ed Hamburger.

    Oil gallery plug size?

Can somebody tell me the correct size or part number for the plug that goes inbetween the oil filter passages under the #5 cap? Apparently I threw the old one out when I tore this engine down, or just can't find it amongst all my junk. Thanks!
