    Motor must be sealed up tight for vac. pump to work right. I usually pressurize motor (5- 10 lbs.) and use a spray bottle with soap and water. Check valve covers, intake valley pan, intake bolts, oil pan, front and rear seals, oil pump mounting, fuel pump plate, timing cover, dist. hole.

    Looks like the balancer in picture was custom balanced to the rotating assembly. Not pretty but to replace it you should rebalance the whole rotating assembly.
