Brewtus' DustAAR (hopefully) build. Don't expect much.

Only questions I could think of was the supplier of the spoilers. I think I found a source for the rear one on Fleabay, and possibly a small front one. Nice car you have there, sir. Mine won't be anywhere near that caliber, just a stripped-down Trans-Am racer-style build for fun at the...

Brewtus' DustAAR (hopefully) build. Don't expect much.

No muffler hanger on the right side of the car, only the one on the left - And the tailpipe bracket - This car was not a 340 car. It was a 318 4-speed Twister, so it does not surprise me that it does not have the dual hangers. If you can use this, PM me. I certainly don't need it.

Brewtus' DustAAR (hopefully) build. Don't expect much.

Hmmm, don't know. I'll check when I get home this afternoon. Not much progress. The 340 block I retrieved last weekend is not in good shape. I need to have it inspected at the machine shop, but I'm pretty booked up for the next 3 weeks or so.

I'm interested in the bottom end, if shipping to New Mexico will be (ha-ha) reasonable. PM sent.

Brewtus' DustAAR (hopefully) build. Don't expect much.

Those do look sharp. If I don't go with the Superbird-style "Plymouth" callout on the rear of the car, I'll go with those. :thumbrig: Birds, yes. Along with squirrels, mice, rabbits, and a cat or two. The car was abandoned in the east mountain area for years before I got it. Now it sits...

Brewtus' DustAAR (hopefully) build. Don't expect much.

When I started the thread, I had no idea that car existed. My plans are for more of a AAR/Autodynamics style Trans-Am racer, not a show car. No 6-pack, nor anything really related to the street oriented AAR Cuda. Caged, bare floors (well, maybe Line-X'd floors anyway), lightweight buckets...

Brewtus' DustAAR (hopefully) build. Don't expect much.

Yeah, it's been a while. I did not really want to post pictures of a pile of parts, but some work has begun. I disassembled the OD 833 I got with the car. Does not look too bad, and I've already made arrangements to have countershaft bushings made. I also went down to my dad's place in...

'74 Dodge D100 Adventurer - Finn The Truck

Awesome stuff. Always liked them 'ol D-series trucks. A couple shots of mine. My '77 D-100 Custom, taken several years ago. Now has a serious oil-control problem (smokes more than an oil derrick fire) from the $25 junkyard 360 I installed in 1995 to replace the thrown-rod 318 it...

    Tow Rigs

I can beat that ugly truck! :D My 1972 D-300 ramp truck. Got it off Craig's last summer, traded 1-1/2 motorcycles for it - Originally equipped with a 400, advertised having a 440, actually powered by a 1964-vintage 413 (wouldn't be my first choice either, but that's what's in it) with a...

Trans-Am info for the 1966 Barracuda

If I'm not mistaken, Lee Dykstra ran the Trans-Am Mustang effort out of Kar Kraft for the Bud Moore team in 1970. If he's the guy in your shop, I'd say you have a distinct advantage already!

    SCCA Prepared C FABO Build

Awesome build! Very motivational for me to get busy on that pile of parts that should make a '72 Duster when done. Subscribed!!

Auto or Manual transmission pedal assembly? I have a complete A/T pedal assembly with switch and bracket still installed. PM me if this is what you need.

Duster floor (the whole thing!) for free. There was a reason....

I have the donor floor on the local Craig's for $100. So far no offers. It may become trading fodder here pretty quick.

Brewtus' DustAAR (hopefully) build. Don't expect much.

Careful what you wish for. I thought it "looked cool" about 7 years ago. I now own 6 Trials bikes, and have been a board member in the local club for 3 years now. I all but ignore the 9 other bikes I own. Thanks for the compliment on the 315. That bike isn't even mine. It belongs to the...

Thanks everyone. This will certainly not be a fast build, but I am working on it when time and funds allow. There will be more soon.

Brewtus' DustAAR (hopefully) build. Don't expect much.

Picked up this '72 Duster last summer in trade for....junk. I think I came out pretty well - The car came with lots of spares... I cleaned up the hantavirus-n-filth out of the car last summer and parked it. I made a trip down to Roswell, NM to my dad's place last...

Duster floor (the whole thing!) for free. There was a reason....

I had just about decided to use parts of the floor I have until I dragged it out and sat it beside the Duster. The rear seat pans are rotten just as bad as the front seats are, and the PO did not cut out enough floor out of the donor. He had cut it on the seam on the bottom of the rear seat...

Duster floor (the whole thing!) for free. There was a reason....

I gotta admit, the dancing chick in his posts are the main reason that I'm leaning toward his offer. That, and the floor he has is nicer than the one I have and less expensive than the AMD panels. Nah, it's the dancing chick. :D

Duster floor (the whole thing!) for free. There was a reason....

Rain did not last long. I tried my best to send it eastward towards OK and TX. Hokay, more bad pics. The rocker replacement from the bottom- And from the top. Shown on the driver's side, about where the front floorpan is- A bit further down, front seat area driver's side-...

Duster floor (the whole thing!) for free. There was a reason....

Don't overlook the "liped over" crack where the wrinkle is. There was also the butchered job done on the rocker panel replacement done at one point in time... I dunno fellas. Fairly wrinkly and cracked, butcher job done on the driver's side. rust beginning in a couple of places. AMD...

Duster floor (the whole thing!) for free. There was a reason....

Just picked up a '72 Duster last month to replace the one I had sold 23 years ago. The seller was nice enough to throw in a complete floor from a donor car to replace the rusted floor in mine- At first glance, it was a pretty good donor- Then I looked closer. :sad5: This is...
