    66 Dart Owners thread

I have a 360 with TTI headers and I know I'm going to have to do some fabricating with my steering column. I just wasn't sure if the pitman arm or idler arm were the same. Does anyone have alignment specs once it's changed over. Thanks Rod

    66 Dart Owners thread

I have a 66 Dart with manual steering. Years ago I bought a new power steering box and pump along with hoses to do a conversion. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if any of my steering links will need to be changed? I'm thinking I might tackle that as a winter project. Thanks. Rod

    Mixing oil weights

Bad thing is i have 5-20 in it now. I used to use mobile 1 5-20 and I lost the #5 roller on the exhaust side. Many people were saying that the mobile wasn't a good oil to use, although I have ran it in most vehicles for the last 20 years I thought I would try the royal purple 5-20 as 8ve heard...

    Mixing oil weights

TF360, yes I am sure it's not manifold tick. As I said in an earlier reply thread I replaced the needed ones when I put it back together. This is most definitely a tappet tick. It only last 2 or 3 seconds on cold start up. Rod

    Mixing oil weights

Rarichard, I've replaced the manifold studs when all other work was done. I did a valve job while it was apart. This is definitely lifter tap. Rod

    Mixing oil weights

I'm currently running 5-20. I was going to go with 5-30. But I have 5 qts ofvthat and 3 qts of the 20-50. There is no warranty so I'm not really worried about that. Thanks for the input. May I should just use a 10-40 and be done with it. Lol. Rod

    Mixing oil weights

I was wondering how would mixing 3 gts 20-50 of the same brand oil with 4 qts of 5-30 oil change the viscosity if the total blend. I have a 2011 5.7 hemi in a ram 1500 truck with 65k miled and I had to replace the cam, lifters, oil pump, Vvt valve and phaser. Now at startup it has the "hemi...

Are there any Mopar dealership mechanics here?

I have some questions about a 2011, 5.7 Hemi. I need to understand the way the oil pressure, vvt valve and cam phaser work together and if the oil used can change anything in the operation. Also what can go wrong inside a phaser. ‘Thanks Rod

Your thoughts on the 5.7 hemi tick

Rarichard, what is the Diablo tuner, how does it work? Did the disabling of the mds change fuel mileage? Thanks Rod

Your thoughts on the 5.7 hemi tick

I am or maybe I should say “was” the proud owner of a 2011 ram 1500 truck with a 5.7 hemi. I’m so disappointed in the 5.7 that I feel maybe I should buy, and I hate to even think this but maybe a Ford! I’ve been bitten by what I am being told is the hemi tick. (And my motor is not making any...

Guys I appreciate all your thoughts and suggestions. I've thought about this all week and have come to the decision to put the Dart up for sale. It needs to belong to someone that will drive it. The sellability of our early “A” body cars

I was wondering, is there any demand for our early “A” body cars. I know there are for the Chevy Nova II, the Camera’s and the Ford Mustangs. But what about the mopars? I am considering the possibility of selling my 66 Dart. I did a major resto mod but it’s a shame that it basically just sits...
