With sun gear would be a better for street/strip??
I have a 74 904 with a sun gear that measures 1.080 and a 83 904 with a sun gear that measures 2.040. I don't know the gear ratio's.

I'm looking for some insight on a rebuild kit for a 904.
Brand preferrences and overall quality.
1972 Dart Swinger in full dress
360 - 400 to 450 hp
904 with a stall some where between 2000 - 2800
8 3/4 3.73 suregrip.

compression should be around 9.2 - 9.3
stock crank and rods
the cam is xe268h-10 gross lift is .477 intake .480 exhaust
duration @ .050 224 intake 230 exhaust
single plane aluminum intake
596 heads ported intake...
I will be break-in in my engine here shortly (next weekend hopefully). My questions is should i use a stock springs for the break-in period or the springs that came with the k-kit?
cam is: CRS XE268H-10

Just wondering how good if at all are this heads casting # 3671587.
They are off of a '72 block from a Fury 3. They also have a J stamp on them.

I was wondering if there ir any modification to a LA 318 Block if I was to use the crank out of a poly block? Are there any advantages and/or disadvantages.

Is a all drum proportion valve the same as a disc-drum set up? I got a set of small bolt disc that I'm going to switch this weekend and don't want to mess with the valve unless I have to.
I found a set of these heads for sale. I was wondering if they are any good and what they possible come off of?
The seller said they were of a 1980 360.

looking you suggesting on a 318 build. I have the a 1966 318 poly with good crank and rods and a 1983 318 police Interceptor. i was wondering if the crank and rods would interchange to have a stronger bottom end.
let me know what you think
