Possible to put a Engine in with transmission in a 67 Dodge Dart?

I used a engine leveler with the engine and trans pointed down, with hood removed, and the back end of the car jacked up high as I could get it. Once the trans and engine was going in pretty good I lowered down the rear of the car.

    new lazy lifter....

Went to NAPA for some new front brake rotors for my Ram because they was warped bad. Dodge had a problem with their Ram rotors warping (long story). The NAPA guy told me I had two choices the rotors made in the USA or the rotors made in China. He said if I bought the USA ones I would be in here...

    new lazy lifter....

These was Morel and Eaton roller lifters. If you consider the companies cheap then so be it. The Morels was $440 retrofit lifters. One of the morels would not pump up. The Eatons clattered like crazy upon start up no matter the adjustment. Hughes "retro fit" lifter not pumping up!

    PCV has whistle and/or whine

You have too much vacuum... the stock type PVCs can't handle it.. LOL I have a 03 Ram with a big cam and my power brakes work fine. They sometimes feel funny in parking lots but I don't feel any differences other than that. 8 inches of vacuum most of the time at idle. You need a bigger cam...

    PCV has whistle and/or whine

15-16 inches of vacuum!! I have two engines one in my Ram and the other in the cuda. Neither one pulls over 10... lol Could use process of elimination. Remove and plug off PVC. Drive it. Just to eliminate the possibility of the whistle coming from somewhere else. Put tape around the PVC where...

    PCV has whistle and/or whine

The OP says that he is having problems with a whine/whistle stating he has tried different traditional PVCs with no luck. I suggested the M/E Wagner because it's made differently than a normal PVC. My thinking it would solve the whine/whistle because it's fully adjustable to work on any engine...

Reverse Split Pattern Cam - 318 Magnum Head swap

It would be for a turbo most likely. Check the specs of the blower cam versus the turbo. Superchargers get bigger exhaust the turbo gets smaller. Hipotek Nitrous/Blower Cam Hipotek Reverse Split Turbo Cam

    Stroker specific cams?

It wasn't very long. I can't remember right off hand but I think it was 6 or 7 months. I don't know the noise Brian is talking about... I didn't hear anything unusual. I have PAC beehive springs so I they might help keep down the vibes and noises. Just guessing on that. They are doing well...

    Engine Oil 360 LA?

I asked Brian at IMM Engines what oil should I run in the engine he built for me. He said run 10w/30 oil that is high zinc. Joe Gibbs, Valvoline Racing oil, etc.. Now keep in mind this is a roller cam engine. Don't ask me why because I don't know the answer. I just do what the man said. LOL I...

    Unstoppable Coolant Leak

In the service manual for 5.9 Magnum it calls for the final torque to be 12ft/lbs. I have a new 408 and when I installed the new Hughes intake I torque them to 12ft/lbs. It did fine for a while but then I started hearing a whistle noise. The intake was leaking on number 6 cylinder intake runner...

No I never did. I invested money in the engine guess you can say. It would be nice however to have A/C. Looking at the instructions .... to me it gets really involved. I'd rather work on the engine... lol EDIT: I remember now... I have a aftermarket EZ-Wire fuse panel in my dash. I would not be...

    What Aluminum radiator?

I have Griffin rads in my cuda and 03 Ram with 408/Vortech supercharger. There has been recent postings in Facebook commenting between Griffin and Champion rads. The Champions are getting a few negative comments. Mostly about welds, made in China and Champion uses 5/8" tubing rather than 1.25"...
