[FOR SALE] 741 Rear w/2.91 gears; A-Body gas tank new

I have a 741 Rear chunk w/2.93 gears. The bearings were all replaced new, spins freely, needs final setup. I ended up getting hold of a 742 and installed that instead, after having gone through this one and rebuilding. $200 I also have a brand new-in-box and still wrapped A-Body gas tank for...

2 PM's responded to - I am willing to ship the axle. PM me your zip if interested, and I'll find out the ship cost.

[FOR SALE] 8-3/4 Rear Axle housing

This was mistakenly advertised as an A-Body axle when I bought it, but it is really a B-body axle, so I cannot use it. It measures 55" from outside flange to outside flange. It had some surface pitting, but is otherwise solid, so it would be for a driver only. I throughly cleaned it inside...

    [FOR FREE] FREE - Windshield

This is out of a '69 Barracuda convertible, but I think it will fit 1967-69 too. It is in good shape for a driver, no chips or scratches on the surface or edges. It has the tint at the top. I don't need it, and I'd rather see someone make use of it than throw it away. I can't ship it though...

What should a 69 Barracuda have in the Rear Wheel housings.

There isn't anything in there at all, other than the inner and outer housings, as others have stated. Here are some pics from a '69 with the fender out, if they help.

To correct the above, I meant adjust upward to make it leaner. :)

    FiTech EFI system

This is helpful, thank you. I won't get to call tech today, but it's good to know they are open on Saturdays. I'll run the data logger and see what's going on, and at least I'll have something to share with tech if they ask. As for the AFR, by default it was in the mid 13's on my unit. I have...

    FiTech EFI system

I had my EFI unit 30002 all set up on my basically stock 318 that was freshly rebuilt (cam is essentially stock, maybe a notch above; it's built to be a driver). The unit ran fine through the winter when I drove it a total of about 15 miles to and from the various local shops to get aligned...

    [SOLD] Barracuda tail lights

Good suggestions. Even with the studs out, it is still 6" deep at the shallowest part, which is the exact height of the large box, and that's without anything to protect it. I'd hate to see them get bashed in an unprotected box.

    Top up/down switch

Crackedback on these boards sells the relay setup, I installed one on mine. Nice easy setup, reasonable price and works great, and I'll bet if you ask him, he'd be able to tell you what kind of toggle you can use with the relays. I'd think you can use a relatively normal double throw switch...

    [SOLD] Barracuda tail lights

Shipping is going to be high to Hawaii, unfortunately. They won't fit into a flat rate box, and the cheapest rate I found was through USPS for $132.60.

[FOR SALE] Rearview Mirror + parts

Various parts to a rearview mirror. The mirror itself is original, taken off a '69 Barracuda. It is in good shape, as shown in the pictures. The post is not original, and has some nicks in it, but overall in good shape. The base is new and unused, but does not have the ball for the post to...

    [SOLD] Barracuda tail lights

Set of tail lights taken off a '69 Barracuda. Driver quality, they need some work, as can be seen in the pictures. One has cracked lens, the other is intact. One has a small ding on the chrome. Pictures show what you are getting. $45 plus shipping.

    Top up/down switch

I took my hazard switch apart for the same reason, there wasn't much to it. I would imagine the top switch is similar? Bend back the clips holding the rear part on and gently remove the innards. Open it carefully so no springs fall out. There really isn't much in there, I cleaned and greased...

    67-9 Dart/Barracuda Vert Trim Clips

I looked everywhere that I could find. R/T Specialties still says they are on back order, but I've been hearing that for the past two years of visiting his booth at Carlisle. Restoration Specialties used to have a stock of them, but they no longer do. I found leads in Hemmings, but no luck...

    67-9 Dart/Barracuda Vert Trim Clips

I need the whole set, since none of what was on there is reusable. I'll take whatever you can spare and go from there! Let me know if I should PM you or feel free to PM me. Thank you!

    67-9 Dart/Barracuda Vert Trim Clips

Looking for these same clips as I finish up my project, if anyone is willing to sell some (or knows where I can get), please let me know. If there are suggestions for reasonable substitutes, I'm open to ideas too. When I took mine apart, there were only unprotected/incorrect J-bolts holding...

    Biggest rim/tire under 67-69 vert

I've got 225/60 15 on 15x7 wheels in the front, and 245/60 15 on 15x8 in the back, and they fit and turn just fine.

    Front turn signals not working

They did work before the resto, so maybe I'll go back to traditional bulbs. It seemed like a good idea at the time LOL. Part of the plan will be to swap a few out and see if that changes things. And yes, on all my trips to the various shops for alignment, etc., I have been using the arm out...

    Front turn signals not working

I just wanted to say thank you to Crewchief, 67Dart, and Redfish. After a month of torture, nearly everything works, and your suggestions helped me figure things out. I replaced both of the flasher units, just to be safe. I also ended up replacing the rear wiring harness, as it was giving me...

    Front turn signals not working

Hmm, both the service manual diagram for 69 Barracuda and the harness itself have only two prong receptacles for both... Maybe the 3-prong is for other years/models?
  27. ChrisN68

    Front turn signals not working

Thank you both for responding, it has helped me make some level of progress. Here is the current status: Following Crewchief's question, I pulled the hazard switch and found that I was not getting continuity on the four poles in either switch position, even though I am getting appropriate...

    Front turn signals not working

I have the schematics, and I'm guessing the flasher block is next. That will be tomorrow's task, so thank you. I'll let you know what I find. If anyone else has suggestions for what else to check on, I'm happy to listen. Would rather crawl under there with a few ideas.

    Front turn signals not working

Got home today and had some time to do a preliminary check, and here is what I found, if anyone has any thoughts: 1. Grounding the light socket and/or the parking light housing direct to the negative terminal of the battery did not produce any signal in the front. Not sure if this is the...

    Front turn signals not working

That makes sense, and would explain the park lights working while the turns do not. I'll check all of these things Saturday morning and post what I find out - thank you!
