I’ll definitely be following in hopes that someone has first hand experience with one. I wonder how durable they are or if there is any type of warranty on them.
I used raptor liner inside my old cj-7. Took special care to prep it really well down to bare metal. Followed the instructions to the T. Within a year it was pealing off. Just one mans experience for what it’s worth.
I was just bitchin about this the other day! I have the same problem. Either too big or too hot or not bright enough. I have gotten to the point that my go to is a head lamp. Not perfect, but it usually puts the light where you want it without having to move the light every two seconds.
At the very least, even if you don’t want to deal with the hassle of the return, leave feedback. That’s the way that other people know if they can trust that seller. If you don’t leave feedback they can just do it again and again.
Neverending project! I’m learning to enjoy the journey and not the destination. Been working on it for several years with my dad. He’ll be 72 this year.
So the wing window attaches at four places in the door. The yellow is the double nut. That goes to the front of the door behind a plug that you can see from the outside of the door. The blue slides over the peg that is also accessible behind a plug in the bottom of the door. Hope that helps...
I can take some pictures for you. I have a 67 door that I am working on that has the panel off. Maybe I can draw something out if nobody else has one. Have you checked the fsm? I’ll try to work on that today for you.
Ok. I need one that’s 21 inches. You don’t have an extra one of those around do you? I have two of the pedal assemblies. One for a /6 and one that’s 19 inches.
Yeah I guess the car will drive fine without it. If I put the 68/69 gasket in when I put the back window in, will there be a gap where the trim goes or will it look ok if I leave it like that until I find the trim?
Is there any chance of finding this piece or do you think I would be better off selling off the pieces I have and start over with a complete set? If anybody has any leads on just the lower passenger piece please let me know.
Thanks
I know it's a long shot, but I bought a set of stainless trim at Carlisle to convert my 67 notchback to the 68-69 reveal moulding and turns out the lower passenger side piece was wrong. Does anyone have the lower passenger side rear window trim piece for a 68 or 69 barracuda notchback that they...
Sorry I don't have anything to add to the thread, but I've seen pictures of your car on the internet before. I love the shaker hood! I want to do that to my 67. Did you do the fabrication on the hood or did someone else?
Oh man, I can't tell you how many times I watched that movie. Was always one of my favorites. I have to go back and watch it with my kids now and see what they think. I bet they won't appreciate it like I do. RIP Rowdy
