    68 Valiant in NYC area

Hey GT, I am moving to Willow Street in Lancaster county. I see that you too are in Central PA. Whereabouts? Rumblefish360, Thanks again. I suppose that if I can't get a buyer for it I will have to get a tow dolly. I already have a truck reserved so it's just figuring how much extra...

    68 Valiant in NYC area

Thanks for the kind words. Transporting the car is a problem. Getting a title for it should be no problem as I have done this on my Charger years back. For two or three hundred, there is a company that takes care of this stuff. I just don't want all the additional cost and I fear that if I do...

    68 Valiant in NYC area

After much self debating I have come to terms that I will sell my 68 valiant. The reason being that I recently purchased a new home out of state (in Pa.) and I am afraid that I just will not have the time (or cash) to arrange for transport of the vehicle. Here are the specifics: 68 Valiant...

    Value of Slant Six Car

Althought the value of these are at the low end of the Mopar spectrum it has gone up some in the past few years. I would check to see if anyone is selling something similar in your area and see what they are getting for it. Russ

    Problems with my Slant 6

I would do a quick check and be sure that you didn't bend any pushrods. Other than that simply replace the stock nylon gears and single chain with a good quality double roller setup. Make sure that everything lines up when you install it. Best way to do this is to make sure that the number one...

    bought a 2bbl intake

I have a non-emissions Carter BBD off of my 71 Dodge Charger. It is a working carb off of a 318 motor. If you want it I can let it go for $25. The only problem is, shipping to your neck of the woods can cost almost the same price :( It is the carb on the left in this picture: The blue is a...

    Theives! *grumble* *gripe*

One of my first cars, a 75 Chevy Nova, sat idle in front of my house as I walked a few blocks to pick up my younger sister from school. When I returned a half hour later, all the window chrome, drip rail chrome and wheel well chrome was gone. All in broad daylight on a busy road! 2 years later...

    Woooooo Hoooooo

Wooo-hooo indeed! It is nice having choices and I am happy to have one more! As for my Slant, it's a 53,000 original mile engine. Sometime, 15 years ago, the original owner decided to get rid of the car because "the engine went". I assume that some unscrupulous mechanic told him this or he...

Am i the only one that don't.....

Topics like this always make me want to rant so here goes, and please don't take this personally- I am not judging anyone. 1. I would rather play sports than watch them on TV any day. 2. The idol worship in this country is way out of hand. This includes movie stars and sports stars. We...

How did you get hooked on A-bodies?

I always liked A bodies but always owned the beefier looking B-bodies. A great price on my current Valiant finally got me into the A body fold and I am hooked! Russ

What would YOU do with a slant six?

I remember that Hot Rod article from 2000. If I am not mistaken, they were able to squeeze almost pound for pound torque for CID. BTW- I rescue old slant sixes that get tossed out of their homes for small blocks ;-) No donation turned away :) Russ
