    WTF YOU lookin at? LMAO

LMAO!!! I did something similar not too long ago, but for a different reason. I used em when under my welding hood.....no one saw em but me.....lol....good thing; they were ugly. I was too cheap, and in too much a hurry, to buy cheater lens for the hood...lol. I've since bought a set of cheater...

    Dodge Dart Sport

I'm putting together a '73 Dart Sport right now and I can assure you that there is no way in hades I could ever get my car in that kind of condition for $7500!!! "Buy it now" is verrrrry good advice. Just do it. I wouldn't worry about doing upgrades/mods for now. Buy and drive it for a while...

BTW, I noticed that you're new here so let me take a moment and say: WELCOME to FABO. There's some very knowledgeable folks here that have been into these cars for a long, long time.

    Valiant Vs. Dart wagon

I learned to drive in a '65 Valiant wagon. 255 slant 6 w/torqueflite.....so I'm pretty biased towards em. My dad could hardly pull his boat with it after he bought it, so he had a shop install a small 450 cfm Holly 4bbl along with a 4.10 rear gear (I think). It pulled his boat just fine after...

    Go Wing Install

I believe they're all double-paneled. However, on '70-71 cars (and maybe other years), I believe the cutouts in the inside panel were done for the wing brackets on all of em even if they didn't have the wing option. Look inside your trunk at the inside panel and you should see an area cutout on...

    Bob Glidden has passed

"Just an FYI..Pro Stock still runs the full 1/4 mile..Agree with you on Glidden" Yes. I stand corrected and will correct my post...my bad. ProStock still runs the full 1/4. The nitro cars (FC & TF) are now limited to 1000'....and that, too, I'm not a fan of. I consider it similar to...

    Bob Glidden has passed

I've been going to the U.S. Nationals almost every year...for years now. Glidden, without question, is one of my all-time favorite racers in the sport. He was animal, and that's putting it mildly. One of my many most memorable moments at the Nats was the Pro Stock Finals back in 1985...

Removing rust from nuts and bolts

I do the same a gdrill in the pics above. Just need to be careful not to let any of em escape from the can. I added a handle to my can, but other than that, it's the same deal. I'm sure the other ways mentioned above also work, but bead blasting em is the way I do it.

    Well that sucked

Against a HellCat? Dude, I'd be some kind of proud to have that good of a showing with one of my a-bodies against one of those beasts. On the red FOB, they're animals. Look at it this way: It took em 50 years to catch up and pass ya....LOL I've run my 2011 SRT8 392 6-speed against our...

Lifting engine block with a hoist?

I just did this last month....LOL Years ago, I cut a couple of pieces of 2" angle iron (a couple of pieces of unistrut angle will also work and they have the holes already there), drilled a hole on each side of each piece. I got some short bolts the same thread pitch as the head bolts and bolted...

Just saw my old (stolen) mags on Craigslist

Bruno got my brand new '73 Dart Sport 340 shortly after I purchased it back in early 1973. It was never found or recovered. Cops suspected it immediately went to a "chop shop" somewhere and was parted out. I, too, hate Bruno.

1973 Dart Sport 340 period correct Tach

As an owner of a brand new Dodge Dart Sport 340 back in 1973, that tach in the above pick looks like the exact tach that I installed in it....in just about the same spot too.

    LOOKING FOR ADVICE

Been in your situation and it's sometimes not easy to decide. I agree with many of the others in that a running car will keep you emotionally motivated to keep at it. However, some things like rusted out sheetmetal should be addressed before they get even worse. My '73 has been apart now...

    Lost my best buddy chloe

Hi Mike. I held off posting on this thread because I know that pain. We had a little black & tan Chi named Josie Girl that actually picked me out to be her best friend. She went everywhere with me. Driving down the road, she'd climb up and lay on my left shoulder looking out the windshield...

Things your Dad used to say.

Mine elected to retire in eastern Maine. He always said: "IF you can't stand the winters, ya don't deserve the summers." When we mouthed off as kids, he'd say: "Don't let your alligator mouth overload your canary ***."

    !!!BUY THIS BOOK!!! ??

My copy came in last week and I've perused through it a few times now. This is a very well-thought out and helpful book....better than anything else I've seen for these transmissions over the past 40 years. Good job, Tom.

    Finally chose my color!

I like that color, but IMHO without the flake is better, but it's hard to tell on a computer screen and would need to see it in real time. Either way, it's a good looking color and definitely different.

    Opinions Please.....

I don't think you were out of line, Rob...not at all. I just turned 67 and I can get pretty darn "grumpy" sometimes, especially with screaming, undisciplined kids. I have a nephew & his wife that don't believe in any type of discipline of their kids. At my mom's funeral, the oldest one, about 9...

    Trailer deck refinish

UPDATE: They decided NOT to pay for the damage as they feel it ”wasn’t their fault” because the trailer was “faulty”. Also, I think I forgot to mention that the spare tire/wheel ended up “missing” on this trip, but they didn’t know anything about that either. FABO folks, I’m sorry, but I...

    Crankshaft washer off center?

FWIW, you are NOT alone....and just for the record, I don't get real happy about it either when it happens to me. But, it's part of getting out there and actually trying to do something constructive so I just do whatever has to be done to make it right and continue on. Don't let it get ya down.
