    Differences in k frame eng height

    Is there a difference in small block V-8 K frame engine mounting heights, between the 1967-'72 sb one and and the later '73-'76 spool type? I heard years ago from a friend named Sam Ayers, that one or the other mounted the engine higher, but I can't remember now. Thanks
