    rear suspension lift

I think it is too. I've bounced it for a couple of weeks every time I go out there. I think the stronger leaf springs may be lifting the whole car?

Don't feel the need to start a new thread, but Mopars Invade Mo-Kan is this Saturday. Hoping we don't get a rain out.

    "gripper pattern" u bolt question

I bought new U bolts from Calvert Racing and they aren't flattened or knurled? How bad is it going to hurt my housing to run them. I plan on putting 600 hp to the ground and thought these would be an upgrade. Should I replace them or just torque them and forget about it?

    rear suspension lift

Thanks. I don't know exactly what you're seeing but the after is about three inches higher. I'm hoping for some settlement after I drive it for a few hundred miles. Can you tell us what size tires you're running on front?

These are brand new ESPO +1 springs on my Duster. They haven't had a chance to settle yet. No adjustments were made to the torsion bars. Before After

Anybody running these kind of Air Filters on a tunnelram

A friend of mine is running one of them on his 440 because his M1 intake is too tall and a normal air cleaner won't fit under his hood. He paid extra for the two screens with the 1/4" foam. I was not impressed by the screens and filter. Not very robust. He doesn't even run the filter anymore...

Next Phase of my Mopar Life

I picked up my driveshaft Friday after work. It's a 3 1/2 inch with 1350 joints built at a local driveline shop. It should stand up to anything that I throw at it.

Shipping parts- new way to me. Thought I’d share.

I used the bathroom scale (digital) to ship a 70 pound pair of leaf springs this week. I also have a smaller food scale to weigh boxes up to 5 pounds.

Shipping parts- new way to me. Thought I’d share.

I've been using Pirate Ship for a few months and it really is quite a bit cheaper than going straight to the UPS store. Plus, since you already have a shipping label, I can just pop into the store and get the package scanned into the system. No more waiting around while some kid tries to measure...

    Polka polka nights

Our family is German on both sides, so yes, I've been known to enjoy a good Polka dance occasionally. I don't dance myself, but we enjoy the music and the costumes. Why? so you can smell stale, hot beer and vomit? Edit: Oktoberfest in München is a life goal. @RRR you don't have to sell it to...

    23 or 18 spline?

I'm building a 600 hp 416 and went with the 18 spline. I also added a QT bellhousing just to be safe.

1968 Dart sudden rear end noise.

Jack it up and pull the drums. You might get lucky and there's a spring in the drum that bounced around in there and locked the drum? You gotta start somewhere.

    Central Europe Scamp find

Welcome! I agree with those above. If you have the means to buy the car I'd jump all over it. When are you going to find another car like this in the EU?

Next Phase of my Mopar Life

@VOETOM came over this morning and we were able to measure the run out on the bellhousing. It has .032 total run out, divided by two gets us .016. I ordered a set of .014 offset dowels from RobbMcPerformance Bellhousing Alignment Dowels to get the bellhousing back to within specs. While we were...

    Clutch fan installation question

I made my own studs and used red Loctite to hold them in place. I cut the studs to short so I used blue Loctite on the nuts. If I had measured correctly, I could have used a lock washer.

    LD4B Intake question

I think that you should sell that intake to someone building a 318 and put the money towards a better intake for your 340. They sell adapters for the sending units at the auto parts store or online.

    Freddys not dead

We have In and Out, Whataburger, Freddy's, Culver's plus the usual fast food. I prefer a "Big John" from Johnny Ray's. It's a local mom and pop drive through that hosts a cruise-in one night a month.

Not sure this intake will feed 600 hp

Am I missing something? He says he's building a 408 stroker using Edelbrock magnum heads. That intake won't even bolt on?!?

    4 Speed Reinstall From Underneath

This is the best $100 I have spent lately. Should be able to slide the trans STRAIGHT in without having to bench press it. I'll use it a couple of times and put it on Marketplace.
