This is my ‘63, 270. Low mileage car too. I think it’s a shame that the four door cars don’t get a lot of love.

I’m not sure if it’s doable but I'm thinking about making a set of dies that I can use with a shop press to straighten out the dings in the bezels. If I go that route, I will post the results. Thank you for the compliment. You have a really nice car too.,

I have two extra grille center sections for a ‘66. When I decide which one I’m going to use, I will donate the others for someone’s project. All they will have to do is pay shipping. That way I can help someone else out again. I also have a ‘65 and earlier rear bumper that needs rechromed that...

This is my ‘66 GT 273, 4 bbl. still a work in progress. Man, those headlamp bezels are proving to be elusive. I’m hoping to source a period correct 4bbl for it soon. Best of wishes to everyone with their Darts and Dart projects.

Interesting articles on the 273 engine

Thanks very much for the information. That is gold to me. I understand all of what you are talking about. I guess the one thing that can be done would be to help the flow by porting the heads and/ or port matching if it is necessary and can be done. I think we, as car guys have a tendency to...

[FOR SALE] A bunch of misc for sale

I will do some more research on the carbs. I know That Chrysler used a lot of Carter carbs. I'm just not sure what carb was used on my car. If it's a factory carb, that's mainly what I'm looking for. I will also measure the distance between the mounting screws on my arm rests. If the distance is...

Interesting articles on the 273 engine

I ran across this and more on the website: LA - Chrysler small block V8 engines ,and thought it interesting for the performance engine enthusiasts here. I haven't explored the site completely, but did notice a lack of information on building a 273 engine, although I'm sure that the info supplied...

    [WANTED] '66 Dart valance panel

The guy is doing an amazing job and must really like Mopars. Nothing to complain about there. Thanks for posting the link. I'd like to follow his progress. He should wind up with a concours class car. Paying a huge amount of time and care to put his Dart back as he is doing. An enviable job to...

    [WANTED] '66 Dart valance panel

Thanks for the positive reply. The suggestions are spot on to where I would like to go with the old girl. Someone else started the restoration on it and made a few mistakes. For the most part, excluding the dumb Ford GT emblems it's going OK. I was wandering if the leafs were worn out. I'm...

    [WANTED] '66 Dart valance panel

In not looking to make a show car. Just an all original driver. The guy in Sweden needed to have his body dipped for the kind of rotisserie restoration that he is doing. I've not the time or money to go to such lengths. My car is around 98-99% original. Numbers matching. I am looking for an...

    [WANTED] '66 Dart valance panel

I really like your cars. Very straight bodies on them and they look like they've been taken care of. Nice. I'm doing away with the aftermarket/ homemade shackles on my car.(What ever they are ) I just don't like the look of them. I already have replacements for them. Now if life will give me the...

    [WANTED] '66 Dart valance panel

I thought it said reproduction on the post. My mistake. It would be very nice to have that one. I noticed that some on pieces the manufacturers chrome could vary widely. Especially items built in thee '80 & '90's. Of course by then a lot of chrome was plastic I'd hazard a guess that the bumper...

    [WANTED] '66 Dart valance panel

LOL, you're right. The GT emblems were a spur of the moment thing. They will be gone soon. I wouldn't want my old girl to think I am trying to rub of a little Ford off on her. My plan is to put it back to pure stock. Like it left the LA plant. I kind of like the Dart GT specific GT emblems, but...

    [WANTED] '66 Dart valance panel

Here's a few pictures of,my '66 GT. You may be able to tell why I was confused about the roll pan before you all taught me a few things that I was oblivious to. Thanks again for the help. It was very much appreciated. See how well the '65 bumper matches up with the bumper indents on the body...

    [WANTED] '66 Dart valance panel

Thanks for the idea. If I have no luck in finding a '66 bumper, I'll seriously consider going that route. I'm trying my best to keep it factory stock however you have a great option to consider there. Thanks very much and I will definitely keep your Idea in mind. I do like the narrower look of...

[WANTED] '66 Dodge Dart GT Rear Bumper

i am looking for a rear bumper for my 1966 Dodge Dart GT. I would like to find one in as pristine condition as possible. I also have a 1965 Dart rear bumper for sale. I also need a good set of headlight bezels for a 1966 Dart. If you have any of these items, I am definitely a serious buyer...

    [WANTED] '66 Dart valance panel

From the pictures I can definitely see that someone put a '65 on Bumper on my car. I was inspecting it more closely and you're right. There are no bolt holes in which to bolt a roll pan onto. And there's no provision for the reverse lamps. Wires but no lamps. It's amazing how the indents and the...

    [WANTED] '66 Dart valance panel

You may be right. I just looked at a couple of '66 parts cars on a website. Someone could have put a '65 bumper on it. Which could explain the excessive space below the bumper. I notices the '65's have the body kind of molded around the bumper where on my car the body cuts off flat at the...

    [WANTED] '66 Dart valance panel

I will post some pictures soon. My car is a '66 Dart GT. If it doesn't have a roll pan from the factory, it's the strangest rear end that I've seen. Pics coming soon. It was built at the LA plant and spent most of its life in Seattle, WA. Now it resides in South west FL.

    [WANTED] '66 Dart valance panel

On my '66 Dart GT there definitely is a space for the rear lower valance panel. I will take a picture and send it to you and you can plainly see where the valance panel goes. Thanks for your reply. Maybe this is something many people don't know of and could be a help to them in the future.
