Been kicking around the idea of switching over to led headlights on my 67 barracuda. Just curious if anyone on here has successfully made the switch and what their opinion is on them. What brand you went with etc. Any feedback would be great thanks.

It's a fiber glass hood which is pretty light but maybe I installed them wrong I didn't pre load them just slipped it on the center post half way and played with the hinge until it was close enough for me to force it on the other one and pushed the center one all the way on which made the hinge...

My question is on a 67 barracuda do you have to load the spring as in giving it a full turn somehow for it to hold the hood open? The way it is now i have to use a prop stick and dunno if the springs are just that worn or if I just assumed wrong when I initially installed them. The car didn't...

This is still a long shot but look up clay and sons salvage near Pacific mo and give them a call they have nothing but old Mopar cars and pretty much nothing else.

Are the electric ones pretty durable and reliable as far as taking the heat and being out in the elements and still shutting or opening? I'm young but would still rather just flip a switch lol

That was some of my concern on the leaking and getting hung up. Mostly the hung up because small town cops are dicks and have nothing better to do lol

If you're wanting new year one or classic industries. If used and nobody has one on here look up clay and sons salvage on Google. They are great guys and reasonably priced

That's how I lift my 67 and haven't had problems with it so far. Might want to put a piece of wood between if you're worried about denting the k frame

Anyone know if it was just a v-eight decal on the passenger side fender above the Chrysler symbol on a 67 barracuda? It's not a formula s or anything. Just can't find a clear enough pic to make out what it actually is and the car came with a box full of 440 decals fish emblems and barracuda...

Definitely good to know! I was looking through my parts book and I found the clips for the rear but not the front and was curious about that. I still need to go through and Clean them up so I'll check the lip as I go. Thanks for the advice

So I'm at the point where I'm getting ready to switch over from the 67 gasket and lock bead style to the 68-69 style so I can have chrome trim around the glass. My question is does anyone have the measurements for the location of where I need to drill the holes for the molding clips. Or know...

Well nothing in the oil filter

I called them and told them about it. Taking the oil filter to them now and talking about an extended warranty also lol hopefully it all works out

Yeah I triple checked the one in the distributor hole and it was missing hoping it's not messed up

Yeah I'm calling the shop today and letting them know about it. I tried two different mechanical gauges to make sure one wasn't bad. Really hoping it's not fucked up lol

I found one plug was missing in the distributor hole and after dropping the transmission and such I finally got it in and back together I'm hoping this does the trick
