I was out near a big Amish community last weekend and those folks ride them everywhere. It was freezing outside with the roads covered in snow and I saw a lot more e-bikes than I did buggies.

Never enough. It took me about a month to get used to 430 ft lbs and then I wanted more. At this point it would probably be better to just throw some more gear at it though.
