The '69 grill is different. There is no angle in the lower half of the center section.

I'm having my Cuda repainted this winter & although the body looked straight before stripping, it still required considerable prep before paint. $10,000 easy.

I was not aware of American Torque Thrust wheels coming in the 4" pattern. I've been looking for these. Where can they be had?

Yeah, mine still has the fan but there is no heater core anymore. Dead weight.

I think I would order a '69 ball stud hemi notchback Cuda. I believe only 2 were ever made.

A friend of mine has a CNC machine & he's going to make me some 1/4" thick wheel spacer plates for the back of my Cuda. My question is what material would be best? Steel, stainless steel, aluminum, composite? I'm not going to put them through extreme use but I want something that will hold...

Couldn't say. I've got stock 14's with 235/60 tires on the front of mine. How much clearance do you have with the 255's?

Thanx for the history. The small bolt pattern sure limits the choice of aftermarket wheels. I'm sticking with factory Rallyes but did consider Torque Thrusts at one time.

Sorry to ask a dumb question but what does SBP & BBP refer to? I assume they have something to do with the rear axle assembly.

I have the 5 on 4 small bolt pattern. Let me know if 255's work. I was considering using them but was worried about clearance.

I just put 15x7 rims w/4-1/4" backspace on my '68. I have 245/60 tires on with no spacers. They tuck in nicely in the wheelwells but are only about 5/8" away from the springs. You might want to check your clearance on the inside.

By the way, I didn't mention that I have the 340 block. Please. Tell me more.

I think the only way to definitively solve this riddle is to pop off the wheels & measure the distance from the face of the brake drum to the spring & take it from there. I was told the lugs on the drivers side are threaded left. Is that so? I don't want to be snapping off studs.

They also have a 15X7 wheel with 4-1/4" BS. I just might have to go that route. Would a 255/60 tire fit on these?
