    Gas gauge

So, this is what it looks like. Like I say, I can put the face of this one on the body of a different one. It just needs to be the right resistance. There should be posts on the back like normal. I removed them when I was attempting to fix it.

No, I'll post a picture later today.

I believe so. There's no differentiation in the manual.

    Gas gauge

Hey guys, anybody know where I can get a replacement gas gauge for a 1984 d100? The wires connecting the gauge to the posts broke and in trying to fix them I managed to cut one off. Can't find any online and the local scrapyard didn't have any suggestions. Haynes manual says the sending unit...

    Carter rebuild

Yeah, I definitely wasn't gonna buy a piece of junk. I've worked on tractors for people and those Chinese things almost always fail. As for the jets, my buddy told me to ask because he was curious.

    Carter rebuild

I I did notice in my searching that they almost all had holley carbs. This is my first Mopar, so I'm still learning. You guys have been awesome to me, so thanks again for all the help.

    NV4500 swap.

I'll look through the local scrapyard with my buddy who is always tinkering with his truck and see what we can come up with.

    NV4500 swap.

That would be great. I plan on a 4wd conversion, but that's down the road.

The truck is a 1984 dodge d100 with a 318 in it. I tried to post some pictures with my first post. I'll try again. The numbers on the green metal tag are: 6 3 1 6 S 3 1 3 2 325

    Carter rebuild

Hey guys, I'm looking to rebuild the carburetor on my '84 d100. It's a 2 barrel Carter carburetor. Can anyone tell me where I can find a rebuild kit for it? Also, does anyone know what size jets were in them stock? Thanks.

    NV4500 swap.

All good information. I'll probably just get the adapter. I use the truck as a daily driver and would rather have it working than have simplicity. I don't have the room ( or money) to have a designated "project" car, so I'm making small modifications as I have the money.

    NV4500 swap.

Hey everyone, I've got a 1984 dodge d100 with a 318 and a automatic 727. The transmission is going bad and next summer I'm putting a NV4500 in it. However, I don't know what bell housing I need. Anyone have the answer to this? Thanks.

    Another new guy.

Hey everyone! Just started on this forum. I've got a question, please feel free to answer it: I have a 1984 Dodge D100 custom with a 318 and a 727 tranny. When I pull out onto the highway near me, it is very slow to accelerate. Once in motion, it's alright. Is there any way to increase that...
