    1963 Dart 270 Wagon

While browsing through the untamed wilds of eBay Motors, I came across some Holley single-barrel carbs with glass float bowls. These were Holley model 1904 carbs, which to my understanding were available for a time in the 50s on some Fords. As it turns out, the glass bowl will also fit my Dart's...

[FOR SALE] 1963 Dart front drum assemblies and spindles

In case anyone is interested but not local, it looks like it would cost between $50 and $85 to ship this, depending on where you're located.

[FOR SALE] 1963 Dart front drum assemblies and spindles

If my guesses for the weight and packaging dimensions are close, it looks like it would be somewhere between $35-$50 to ship everything out. If that's not an instant dealbreaker, I'll get some more accurate numbers after I've had a chance to weigh the assemblies.

[FOR SALE] 1963 Dart front drum assemblies and spindles

Selling the front drum brake and spindle assemblies from my 63 Dart after upgrading to discs. They were working when removed from the car a week ago, but one has a leak, probably in the wheel cylinder. These are the 5x4 small bolt pattern. Asking $50 or best offer. Located in Midlothian, IL.

    'Someday' finally happened

I agree, they would. I've already got the black BBS wheels on it, though.

    'Someday' finally happened

While Cragars are definitely a fitting choice for this style of car, I've never personally been too fond of their design.

    'Someday' finally happened

Nah, it seems to have the stock cast manifold going straight into that tiny little exhaust pipe. XD

    'Someday' finally happened

I don't currently have any good pics of the engine just now, but will be sure to get one later in the week. For now, just picture a standard 225 Slant-6 with the valve cover needing a repaint, and a valve cover gasket in need of replacing. As for previous owners, according to the stack of...

    'Someday' finally happened

Posting a couple more pics to this thread for now, showing a little bit of updating. Obligatory Route 66 plates are installed--I'm definitely driving the car too much to go with the restrictive antique plates. Also, while I had been collecting a set of 40 spoke turbine wheels to put on, I...

    'Someday' finally happened

I'm currently thinking either red steelies with baby moons or dog dish caps, or (if I can find a set that fits) some old Western Wheel turbine style rims. (Edit: Slotted mags are also not out of the question.) As for the fun...that's the plan. I'm going to upgrade the brakes, give it a little...

    'Someday' finally happened

After three decades of wanting some sort of classic car or another, I was finally in a position to make that happen. Through an unlikely series of events, I am the proud owner of this 1963 Dodge Dart 270 Wagon. And perhaps inspired by one too many episodes of Vice Grip Garage, I then proceeded...
