Man it has been a long, long time since I posted this....
Quick update.... The car has been sitting in this condition since 2009. Until I moved to Florida and had to trailer it, no additional rust formed on the bare metal while it sat in my garage for 10 years. Now there is a little more...
Nothing like spending money to sell something without describing it. I don't understand why Chrysler is having such a problem. The Lineup looks awesome, the power is there, and the fuel economy is OK. My next purchase will be a Dodge on looks alone.
Sorry but I found a Typo on your site. "Certain" is spelled incorrectly in the last sentence. Everything looks great. I envy you for starting your own business.
I saw them here in Nashville last month. My ears rang for 3 days afterward. I thought it was freaking awesome!!!!!! Lemmy from Motorhead showed up for a couple songs. They sounded great and the stage was a good setup. I agree the openers weren't the greatest (i'm not into the mic choking...
The first Mopar I loved was....The General Lee. I had a different experience then most with Ma Mopar. My Grandfather was Dodge since the sixties but parents drove Fords and Imports. The first Mopar was an 86 LeBaron GTS 2.2 Turbo 5 speed. I was excited when I first got it until the head...
Here's what I did. I bought a flowmaster for a Silverado which had a single intake and dual outlets. I put a set of Megaphone tips on it as well. My muffler guy said it will sound like crap but installed it anyway. To his surprise it sounds like a bigblock. Everywhere I went people allways...
Thanks guys. I can't get to the car just yet. I'm hoping for an 8. It doesn't have motor or trans and he is saying he will sell it for scrap soon if no bites. Framerail rusted on it. I just would like the BBP drivetrain.
I would like to some up my experience with soda blasting. I started just like you. I bought the Eastwood sodablaster and bought soda from Harbor freight. The first problem was airflow. I wouldn't advise anything below a 100PSI diesel tow behind compressor. By the time I got the air/media...
I wish I could find a grill and insert(s). I would throw it on my dart in a heartbeat (no pun intended). I may have been incorrect about the location of said automobilia. Seems pretty high price for a "Third World Country". Probably not Brazil so exchange rate I used is incorrect. 1968 Dodge...
I brought the car back home a couple weeks ago after blasting as much as I could off of it. I didn't finish parts of the car because I ran out of media and found TOO much bondo. I got the windshield out without a crack. Now I just need to find a place for it. I need to decide if it will be...
I cannot speak for all auto factories, but I worked in the paint booth at the Nissan plant in Tennessee for a few months. Unless it was charged thru the metal rack the body was held on while it was going thru the booth there was no physical evidence of a charge. Just my 2 cents.
I have been to a couple other car forums and I have to say FABO is the best. Setup, organization, lay out. The administrators and moderators on this site do excellent work.
Well I decided to pass on the LeBaron. I decided to put all my budget on the body. The car is 20 min south of nashville. I offered him $600 and he said OK, but then I backed out. He reposted it on craigslist for $750.
