    bullrun last night

That Cuda is no joke, very cool car with all new Technology, the owner does alot of Autocross with it so he knows it very well.

    Team Dart Bullrun

Sorry for the late response. Unfortunately the Dart will be comming to an Ebay near you... The car just isn't worth enough to fix back up, with the prices of Darts you can get another one in 100x better condition of ours and make another nice car. BUT.... we are building another "Bullrun"...

    What timing would be best??

Our stroker always liked 35* total. Picked up about 10hp going to 36*, but lost about 20lbs as well.

Some A bodies from the Div. 2 ET finals

Nice!!! Those Red ones particularly stand out, they just look great. We ran Division 7 at Firebird over the weekend, tons of A bodies

That thing is nice! What ET's are you shooting for?

    valve seals??

Do a compression check first, see how different they are. If there's oil in the cylinders it will bump the compression. And if it is smoking due to guides, just replacing seals is only a temporary fix, more than likely will need the head taken off and either new guides installed or guide liners...

    the best rim

As far as looks..... It's really hard for TorqueThrust II's to not improve the looks on a car, whether it be 15" 2's or it be 19".... they always look great :toothy10:

    footbrake racers

Depends on a whole lot of factors.... It's more of a "play with it until you find the sweet spot". My Challenger would like to be foot braked up to 1500, then mash the gas on the 3rd yellow... But my father's Pro Street Valiant likes to leave the line off idle... Just find a good air pressure...

    Car Color

I personally like those darts in Vitamin C orange, with the white bumblebee stripe, or in Sublime Green.... Both are great combos IMO. I would REALLY like to see a nice metallic sublime green, would be something you don't see at every car show.

Using LX (New Charger/Magnum/300) Wheels on a 74 Dart

Yea we're running stock sized tires. That's what we have on all the vehicles, they're just so cheap, and IMO look great, kinda hard to pass up when you find them. Though, on our Dart, they are really close to the front of the wheel opening on the quarterpanels, but we're also running cal tracs

Using LX (New Charger/Magnum/300) Wheels on a 74 Dart

I'll check out what size tires they are, they're just the stock ones. These wheels are VERY strong DodgeFreak! How strong exactly? Strong enough to be beatin to death by 580lbs of small block torque everyday... tons of sideways action, smokin off the tires etc. Ok... so that might not show...

Using LX (New Charger/Magnum/300) Wheels on a 74 Dart

I think the SRT8's all came with 20" wheels correct? If so that's kind of too big for an older car without body mods, the 18" wheels barely clear our cars.

    1/4 mile times

I had a 2000 stall in my challenger, with the .509 cam... it felt like a torque beast... Ran similar times to what you're running in the dart, but had six pack, full weight, and exhaust manifolds.

    1970 dodge dart

We got our '70 Dart, with 318, solid car, for 800 bones..... 5000? Good luck :-D

Using LX (New Charger/Magnum/300) Wheels on a 74 Dart

Not a clue to be honest. The first set of Magnum wheels we tried on a '73 Charger, thought they would fit, but ended up taking a BIG aluminum hogger on a die grinder with hours of grinding to make em fit. The '66 Coronet there we just threw up on a mill with the tire still on LOL. I think it has...

    1/4 mile times

IMO the torque in that motor should live fine with 3.91's or 4.10's... I would jump up to a shorter gear if you were running a small block.... but I think you would be revving too high with the Big Block when it isn't necessarily "needed", just my opinion. Here's a "just for reference" kinda...

Using LX (New Charger/Magnum/300) Wheels on a 74 Dart

The Chrysler wheels "should" fit fine on the dart, we didn't have any clearance issues. We've put several style chrysler/charger/magnum wheels on different cars because they're cheap, and look good IMO. But the Magnum wheels we always had to mill out the center to clear the hub. The inside...

Pay for a good chassis dyno tune, Set up a Cal-trac suspension set up, for the price they are WELL worth it and you'll never look back. Sub frame connectors.... always a great idea. It's just money right? :-D That car should be running an easy low 12, if not high 11 IMHO. That converter...

    1972 Plymouth Duster, Bracket Car

The car did have a title lol. It's sold, thanks for the interest guys. Ended up trading it for a 68' Cuda 440 4-speed + money. Should be a fun car as well  Tony

    Another slow 340

You're right. At the time we didn't know how long the motor was together, or been run etc.... It eventually spun a rod bearing. We replaced it with a 380hp crate and it ran 12.8's with everything else the same. And I think the cars are closer to 3400 with driver etc, but I could be wrong.

    Another slow 340

I think the air, and the gears are your main killers there.... that and spinning the tires lol. Already sounds like you got a good plan worked out, I think you'll do fine. Just for reference, almost an identical combo (Duster, 340, 10.25:1, M1 intake, 509 cams, J 2.02 heads) ran 13.4, with a...
