    Interior paint codes

Adam....Rob is high priced for spray paint but I have never had a mixed paint match the color like Rob's paint did....If I wouldn't have scuffed my dash before I painted it I wouldn't have been able to tell where I painted and where I didn't. This is one of them cases where you get what you pay...

    Chrome finish

Sand all the old paint off and make sure it's grease, oil and dirt free. Makle sure the paint will adhere to plastic as well as some pints won't stick very well.

    Chrome finish

I've used the chrome paint on mine...it looks good but you have to do all the trim so it matches and the prep is the main thing.

http://www.hardensmcw.com/ Just call them up...they have it listed under the interior parts but there isn't a price. They are all over eBay too but I don't know the quality of the eBay ones. I believe the Paddock carries them too.

I got mine from Harden's Muscle Car World and it was a round $50. I have installed 4 of them so far. Mine and 3 for friends. Yes it glues onto the exsisting dash. Make sure you paint or dye the cap to the color you want before you put it on. First thing you need to do is test fit the cap and...

Easy and cheap way to fix the cracked dash is to get one of the Dashtop dash caps. I put on on my Duster and you don't even now it's there:

5 point harness in a car w/o roll cage...How to do it?

I get enough hassel over the radial drag tires and I run the BFG's and they have more tread than most of the drag radials. If the belts are safe enough for a crash at the track at high speeds they should be DOT approved for street use.

5 point harness in a car w/o roll cage...How to do it?

I have been pulled over by the cops and they never said a word about my 5-point harness.....I think it depends on the cop.....the ones around here feel if they are good enogh for the NHRA to accept for a crash they are mor than adequate for the street. It's all up to the officer though.

5 point harness in a car w/o roll cage...How to do it?

They do make Harnesses that are floor mount.....I have them in my car.....but like stated they forces exerted can hurt you in an accident. Mine are a Y type that have a long strap the bolts to the floor.....the problem is that they pull down on the back of the seat and if your shoulders are...

    Interior paint

I painted the metal part of my Dash with the Mopaint interior paint and it matched right up and layed down smooth. I just took a scotchbrite pad and roughed it up then wiped it down and sprayed it......

    Interior paint

If it's a good quality paint and you prepped the surface right the rattle can paint will look just as good as a paint gun. I know the MoPaint stuff is just as good as the Eastwood paints and they lay on smooth.

    Year One dash pad

I have no clue how long they lanyardas are......I used a Mr. Gasket hood pin kit. THe lanyards are attatched to one of the grill mounting screws.

    Year One dash pad

I got mine from Harden's Muscle Car WOrld at one of the Chrysler Classic events a couple of years back.....any of the Mopar restoration vendors should carry them.

    Interior paint

I got mine from this guy: MoPaint Rod Dorfman Phone - 732-846-1044 Fax - 732-937-5510 He has locations in New Jersey and Florida. IIRC he is the guy that supplies Y1 and the paddock with their paints.

    Year One dash pad

Have you looked at the dash covers? Not the cheapo carpet ones. I put one on My Duster and you can't tell it's not the regular dash. http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com/howto/5139_dashboard_rebuild/ Check out that link.

    Guages on the Cowl

Thanks guys......I like the zip tie idea......not sure how track tech would like that though.....I'll probably mount them on the back edge of the hood since it is a 'galss one.

    Guages on the Cowl

How many or you guys have fuel and/or NOS pressure guages on your cowl? How did you mount then and run the lines? Got any pics? I am thinking about putting two out there but I don't want to drill holes in the cowl piece.....I was thinking of mounting them on the fiberglass hood.....any thoughts?
