Check out a place called "big als toy box" completely built blown 392 or 354 for about $15,000.even comes with a warranty. Thats cheap with no aggravation trying to round up the good parts from the junk available that everybody thinks is worth a million $$$$.been there done that. See my avatar

instead of changing the center link try using truck motor mounts. they will raise your engine enough to get the clearence that you need. i've done it many times and never had any problems. good luck

if your carpet is just faded and not ripped up use some rit dye in a bucket of hot water with carpet shampoo.get a scrub brush and start scrubbing. You'll be amazed with the out come.let dry and vacuum.will look like new black carpets.rit dye is available at grocery stores and walmart etc.
