    The mid 70's has 4 pinion steel planetaries. It is the best if you need a non lockup 999. If you need a lockup 999 then go with the 80's and up.

    I remember a buddy of mine switched from a 3.23 one wheel peel to a 3.55 sure-grip and you could notice a difference. Livened the car right up.
