    Since I put in an 518A into the 69 Valiant. I discover that the speedometer cable is to short. I tried routing it 7 way to Sunday. No Joy! I need a longer cable assy. or extension/adapter. Help please! :prayer:

    Please forgive me. I put a A518 in my car and am about to install the B&M Pro Shifter. I have no referances and the car came as a rooler. Where is the park position on the shifter arm on the transmission. All the way forward? Or all the way aft? Thanks :prayer:

    Wow! Welding a flex plate is gutsy...I had the same issue with the flexplate the second time around but, I checked it on the converter first and marked. I must of got it right on the first install. Some luck...lol. Me 2 lesson learned.

    News Flash! I drove over to http://www.mopacautosupply.com/index.html yesterday and talked with Chris Lunn, resedent Mopar expert that has a 69 Dart, LA 360, 727. Turns out my flexplate is on correct but, it is the wrong P/N flexplate. The one in my picture is for a externaly balanced engine...

    I was wondering that as well because I tried it both ways. No there was not any stamp or marking stating "front" or "engine" side. Maybe B&M's tech rep is smoking Draino or something. :wack: will continue my research......

    LOL,,,,Thanks.....I meant 5.9,,,,LOL. That's Nasty Mustang numbers....LOL. So if the engine is internaly balanced there should be "NO" weights on the torque converter. Why arwe they there? Brad J.A.F.O....LMAO

    YIKES! I really did no want or expect having to cut the floor. It loos like the support hasd 4 spot welds at the top attaching it to the floor. That's all I can "spot" so far. Did you have to modify the transmission case? Cheers & thanks for the pic, very helpful Brad
