No it wasn't always like that it start doing that like after 10 passes. Yes in low 1. It is a fully build manual transmission. Sometimes it engages right away sometimes not. And yes we have check the oil level but not in neutral but in park with the engine running cold.

Guys, I found a good deal on a "new" JVX Racing Fully Build Transmission, it has full manual valve body, transbrake and capble of handling @ 700 hp. The " downsite " of it is that has been sitting and stored for about 15 years.... All the internals are brand new as this transmission...
