Hmmm... I put them on exactly the same way as the old ones that I removed. I guess the last owner could have installed them incorrectly.

I thought about that but the cost to make them is too high. I had to machine them on a CNC mill because our lathe is setup for small diameter parts 100% of the time. I took me over 5 hours to make them this way.

I've yet to drive my car but I have re-drilled axles on my 408 powered Dart. I used B body drum brakes which required this adapter that I made. I'll find out soon if it's strong enough.

I mentioned that to them and they said they would ship it for free too but there's a $12 handling fee. Kinda BS but i'll pay $12 for Summits great service.

I decided to pass on buying the car. He owed a couple hundred in back registration so it wasn't worth it. I think he put the 44 in there so it could be rolled around. I wonder if it would be a good option for an A body.

I'm looking at buying a 69 Dart for parts and the owner says it has a Dana 44 in it? I'm trying to determine how much I could sell the rear end for if I buy the car. Any ideas?

Found an A833 for sale but the guy doesn't know what it came out of. Looks like an A body trans to me. Anyone know for sure?
