I put a slapstick in my duster shifter out of a 78 Cordoba body style. So taller shifter rod. used 68 a-body z bar. Had to drill a hole in z bar to get proper ratio to work.

Has anyone used a TCI Diablo Shifters 620004 in a stock a-body console? I would like to upgrade to a ratchet shifter over a stock one that goes in to neutral. Or anyone use something else to replace the stock one. Post pictures of what you have. And any mods that have to be done.

Ya I'm all for putting the 3.5 in there I drove a R/T Intrepid with a 3.5ho it was 255hp and was fast like a scared rabbit would be good on fuel and be fun to drive more power than a 318. Just gear it right.:cheers:
