    Need some help, I have a 2001 model 2500 dodge truck 4x4 5.9 cummins. Problem the rear end give me problems. I think it's a dana 70. Had the clutches and the 4 small gears replaced. Now when I turn the inside tire does not free spin but keeps pulling, the additive was put in the oil, took it...

    Another ford 8.8 question

    Don't know of anyone using the Lincoln rears, that being said the ford explorer rear is in the 59.5 in width, and people are cutting down the long side and installing a short side axle making it equal length. That is putting it some where in the 56.5/57" in range if my memory serves me right.

    Depends on where you want drum or disc, the 97 up is disc with 31 spline.

    You can go to the tires and rims section, look on page 9 the driver side is the long side, the passenger side sets equal in wheel well. Sorry that is the only pic I have posted, but like I said I will be more than glad to post for you when I get back to the states.

    I,m sorry I am in south Mexico right now want be home for another 25 days, but I can get you some when I get back to the states. The 8.8 has been in the car for over 3 years, I do not have any vibration problems and havent had any other problems.

    Idid not make any mods to my explorer rearend other than new spring perches. Did not shorten any side, but did weld the tube to the diff.

    Running 8.8 in my duster, 373 gears, disc brake set up had no problems. Did not see where it was mentioned that you can buy a conversion u-joint. That is the way I went. And I will say for 150.00 I would do it again.
