    Which engine is Cooler?

I don't know if it's possible, but I think it'd be cool in something like that to do a 1st gen Viper V-10 with the intake runners stretched out to make it look like a more modern cross ram.

    New Viper

I've already asked the wife, she won't go for me selling the house to buy a Viper. I said we could live in the car, but she didn't believe me. What they ought to do... Yank the V-10, drop in a 5.7, downgrade the suspension, brakes, transmission, etc. Strip it down to be a base model and set a...

Help me do the math. 4.88 gears

If you're running much more than 105 mph, you will likely run out of motor before the end of the 1/4 with a 26" tire and a 4.88 gear. I ran 4.88 gears in my last car for a while with a similar size tire, but it was trapping just under 102 mph at around 6700 rpm. I'd recommend going to a taller...

The new 2015 Mustang is dazzling...WHEN WILL MOPAR ANSWER?!?!?

I'd agree, it has a lot of similarities to the Scion FRS (Subaru BRZ). I'm itching to see how the rework of the Challenger ends up and other projects they have in the works, but I'm not holding my breath for a cheap(-ish), light, good-handling RWD car for Chrysler/Fiat any time soon.

Anyone ever turn an old Dart into an ultimate daily-driver?

Where in Iowa are you? Maybe we can find someone local to you willing to lend a hand. Everyone's hit on the basic tune-up stuff, which is where you should be starting. Ignition (plugs, wires, timing, distributor cap/rotor) and carb (check/adjust choke so it's open when the car's warm). All...

    cam effects to engine size

You know, I kind of figured I should have phrased that differently after I posted that... :D I had always figured that would be the case due to the difference in displacement...basically, what 805moparkid said about a larger displacement engine needing more duration. Let's say we have a stock...

    cam effects to engine size

Really? So, if someone is running the .509 Purple Shaft in a 400 B with a 3.38 stroke and I took the same cam and stuck it in my 3.58 stroke 360 LA, what would be the result? Would the power curve be lower on the 360? I haven't heard this before and I'm curious as to how the stroke plays a role.

    Going about it all wrong?

I like how they didn't bother to mask anything. I'll bet it saved a ton of time.

    Electric Fuel Pump for Carb

I run a Mallory and a return-type regulator. It's far quieter than the vane pumps, such as the Holleys. It has no problems keeping up with my combo.

    Cool or not cool?

When I heard that the Charger nameplate was coming back in the early/mid 2000s, this is more along the lines of what I was thinking than what they came out with. I agree about the interior, it is not to my taste. Overall, I like it. I think it'd look a lot better with chrome bumpers on it. :D

    Crackhead CL ad.

If you're not hell-bent on a whether or not it looks like a stock piece, it looks like K&N makes a filter for this application for $80. K&N E-1980

Looking to sell a '73 Duster, what do you think it's worth?

Thanks for the input on the car. I'll probably be looking for about $1k out of it as it sits. If I do decide to part it out, I'll be posting what I'm selling here.

Looking to sell a '73 Duster, what do you think it's worth?

I'm honestly not sure, but I don't recall seeing any major problems there.

Looking to sell a '73 Duster, what do you think it's worth?

I traded for a '73 Duster 318 a while back to use as a parts car and I'm getting ready to sell it. I grabbed the seats, interior panels, cluster, and wiper motor and linkage out of it. I also took the rear end and threw a 7 1/4 under the car. This was a highly optioned car with A/C...

Looks like you have a set of those Goodyear Eagle DOT drag radials on there...how do you like em? I'm in the market for a pair of sticky street/strip tires and don't see many people running them.

    weather stripping

I just got a set for my 74 Duster from http://www.justmopar.com/ I bought a full set of body bumpers, exterior door handle seals, trunk, roof rail, and door seals for about $210 plus shipping. Shipping was wicked fast and cheaper than every other place I looked for the Metro brand...

    New ride!

I've picked myself up a new ride. My dad located a 74 Duster that was brought back from Arizona a little more than a year ago. Light surface rust in the interior and underneath, decent paint job (though it needs some attention), and it came with an Edelbrock-headed 360. See below for pics...I...
