I have a '87 Dodge pickup that has the same hole over the starter. It has no plug in it and it doesn't leak (I drive the truck all the time). I thought someone on here would know what that galley over the starter is for and why I'm leaking coolant out of it.

How would you register these? In my state (Ct.) you can't legally swap a VIN onto another body.

I have a 1963 Dodge panel truck with a '86 318, 4 barrel that came out of a cop car and it is leaking anti freeze from what appears to be a 3/4" galley way that goes straight up into the block above the starter? Where does this go? Is one of the rear freeze plugs blown behind the bell...

X2. That's where I get all my stuff. Large assortment, usually comes the next day.

I had a guy ship me a deck lid for my 68 Coronet R/T. he put it in a flat screen tv box and sent it Grey Hound. He used the foam that was on the tv to pack it. Worked good!

X2!!! My cars & trucks were all "yard" finds or someone said "I saw an old car sitting ..." I found my 1968 Coronet R/T original disc brake car when I saw just a little of the nose poking out from behind a barn!!!

I got the same reply almost word for word on a '74 VW Bug I was selling on Craigslist. I think it's a scam. Tell him "cash only" and you won't hear from him again. Also I've heard of fake cashiers checks that your bank will cash and then ask for the money back after they don't clear.

If it was mine, I would take the "Demon" logos off and keep it. Maybe even put the "Dart Sport" back on it. That's a nice lookin' car. Just my 2 cents.

When you paint your engine Does the engine paint go right on the bare metal or is there some type of high heat primer? What has worked for you?
