    Old Kimmer was right... the timing was WAYYY too advanced. I backed it down to 12 degrees BTDC(static) and the problem went away. It also help cure the sluggishness from idle. Car still isn't what I expected, but it is definately better than before. I want to thank you for you advice.:angel9:

    The mixture is right on at idle and it seems to happen only when I am cruising and not accelerating.. actually it happens more during de- accelerating....not sure if it is a vacuum leak.... could be wrong,....
