    UnF☆☆king your mopar

The biggest one that I couldn't unf--k was the guy I bought my Duster from pulled the 340 to put it in his truck, and put an 80s 318 in it's place. Next I had to pleasure of replacing the bent nail holding the transmission linkage to the selector lever with an actual bolt, and removing several...

    Help... Vin #'s dont match

The old woman had no idea it wasn't all original just like her husband probably didn't. I bet they happily drove it and enjoyed it whilst ignorant to that fact. The guy who built it didn't care too much about matching numbers either. He was building a car that otherwise would've rotted into...

    Help... Vin #'s dont match

Not stolen as much as rebuilt, which would blemish the title. Nobody would ever be able to get a loan towards it then. Most people wouldn't know about the ID numbers on the body (I've had my Duster for 16 years now and didn't know), and probably wouldn't mind if two cars were made one whole so...

    Help... Vin #'s dont match

Read this entire thread today, and talk about psychotic. Getting any "authorities" involved is the last thing anyone should ever do (I know this from personal experience). The car would wind up crushed and the OP would never get his money back. The car looks pretty nice for the one pic we saw...

Why is this car not selling???..

318 car with a 360 that has 340 stripes... $8000 if they put a different rear end under it. You guys think that's overpriced? Check this out Perfect summer car! 1967 Plymouth Barracuda fastback

I have a confession to make.

The front is AARish. The back is not so much. Try it out and let us see, it may look good. I don't have any credibility though, my Duster has a cowl.

What should I change this year

This is one of the articles I have read a few times, and they made the best time jump going from 15x7 aluminums with radials to 15x4 aluminums with drag fronts. The steel to aluminum change made very little difference, whereas the front skinnies helped almost a tenth.

What should I change this year

Any testing proving this? I have only seen otherwise in my research. Going to do fronts then swap the axles to a 4.5" bc in the rear the same time I do the fitting for a wider tire.

What should I change this year

I see no reason to. I never plan on going faster than 10s with this car, and cal-tracs with 10.5 tires is plenty enough to handle that.

What should I change this year

Bigger tire is the project for next winter. Do a mini tub and move the springs for a 28x10.5.

What should I change this year

This is actually something I considered. I don't have any local resources for one, but if there's and affordable option out there I'd get on it.

What should I change this year

Had I not already switched from a 904 to a 727 years ago I would do that. Back then I was taking advice from a GM guy who didn't know a 904 would be a better deal for my application. Now going back to a 904 would be a bit out of the budget. And my eating habits... Yeah, 20 lbs would be a good...

What should I change this year

I'm usually in the teens to thirties with my current system. Getting the car to move quicker out of the beams without using smaller front tires would be great. I have a Biondo button I can take shims out of if its too quick.

What should I change this year

My best times without the bottle were last September in Boise, ID, with an 11.571 @115.67 with a 1.593 60' (1/8 7.339 @93). Usually I race at tracks above 4000 feet. It's all bracket racing, so consistency is the priority. Have been debating the trans-brake thing for awhile, and even posted here...

It's a 4500 stall 9.5" From Cope. Been in about 4 years. Contacted Pro Systems about upgrading the carb before. If I did that I'd just do the alcohol setup as long as I was spending the money. The one I have flows 830 if I remember. I've had it for 7 years. So far all I have done is put...

I dig it, but I would never buy one cause my real mopar keeps me broke. If they made a cuda or road runner then you guys would ***** that it isn't plymouth. Why we can't have anything nice.

Hope you don't get screwed over. I had a similar incident happen at the track. Head and intake porting performance numbers

Had LaRoy engines do some porting work on my Eddy heads and Air Gap for my 408. Put them on Friday, and ran the 1/8 mile this weekend. Doing nothing but port work, 2.05 intake valves and milling them .010 gave me a two tenth improvement in the heat of the day. Was running 7.90s last year, and...
