    EFI information

If I was to buy today it would not be the fitech. I had it on my 408 for about 3 yrs and I was a big proponent of it. Worked good when it worked but not reliable enough. Left me stranded 3 times, the last being a 100km flatbed home. Switched back to carb.

    We'll, this sucks!

I hear ya, but I cant wait that long. I live rural so as soon as the winter gravel is off the highways, we are good to go. Having said that, we often get snow on may long weekend so we don't go far!

oops low test in my Challenger R/T

I would say no problem, blend it up when you are able. Manual says 89. You had 1/4 tank of 93 so you are sitting at 88.5 with the 87 added At least you didn't put diesel in

    Mirror Pivot Ball Trick?

If it is the door mirror you are referring to, I put a little bit of crazy glue on the ball. Then rotate it a bit while it dries. It forms some glue 'balls' in there and adds friction to the socket and ball. I did this a few years ago and works good. it still allows you to adjust it. I...

    Bad gas???

Since I don't necessarily believe in coincidences any you never had issues before fill up then suspect the gas. Maybe a shot of water in the gas although not sure how that makes it backfire. I had similar symptoms once with idleing well and driving at low speeds okay but no acceleration -...

    2020 Barrett-Jackson prices?

I agree with all this. I have followed this auction and previous ones, and been to BJ in vegas twice. I have 61 vette and 70 mach 1 along with the valiant so I keep an eye on those too as few A bodies cross the block. Boss 302s were going in the 50s, and C1 fuelies between 50-80 - and these...

    DR Diff forum discount?

just a bit of speculation and a WAG but maybe its got something to do with the 25% tariffs you have on imported steel. Driving up prices as it is expected to do.

Thoughts on a mid size pickup?

Agree with the CVTs but I don't believe the Nissan pickups have the CVT. Pathfinders do as do other Nissan SUVs

What stuff have you found in your cars from previous owners?

My valiant came out of California so had the obligatory Simon and Garfunkel tape under the back seat amongst other things like coins. Found vintage 80s chips style sunglasses under seats of my porsche. Found documentation of previous owners under my vette and porsche seats .one of the first...

    Thoughts on the Eco-diesel Rams

Not sure on diesel prices in US But when I bought my ram hemi in 2014 the difference in economy of diesel vs cyl deactivated hemi and price adder for diesel did not make sense . May be a different story if you tow a lot or are a high mileage driver. Hemi mileage not so hot when towing
