Not sure on diesel prices in US But when I bought my ram hemi in 2014 the difference in economy of diesel vs cyl deactivated hemi and price adder for diesel did not make sense . May be a different story if you tow a lot or are a high mileage driver. Hemi mileage not so hot when towing
