    If you want cheap low budget cheesiness, check out any one of the many "Sci Fi" network original movies. I've yet to see one worth watching, not that I would expect much to begin with.

    Yeah, reality shows like that remind me of the old wrestling show on Saturday night. All staged and scripted. I watched it, but even as a child I could tell it wasn't real. Couldn't convince my grandmother of that, though. She loved that rasslin'. I quit watching "reality tv" a few years ago...

    I noticed this thread right after it was posted and saw her picture, then I saw it again on the news a few minutes ago. So sad. Tell Clint that people as far away as Texas are praying for him in his time of grief and praying that justice will be done. I can so relate to Cumiford's blood...

    It's finally happened

    My wife insists on watching Hoarders on A&E every Monday night. I just sat through an episode a couple of hours ago. Before I saw that show, I would have found this thread unbelievable. People just amaze me.

    Name callers will push and push until you call them a name, then it's "Ha ha, you're a name caller". Hypocrites. But.......sometimes, if you give them enough rope, they actually WILL hang themselves.

    Yeah, that's because you didn't spend the first part of your life having to spin that dial. I still have the black desk phone my grandparents had installed when my dad was 12. when my cordless goes dead, it's my back-up. One of life's little reminders of how it used to be.

    That's what I was thinking. I hold the door for everybody. Man/woman, black/white, whatever. What I've noticed is that chivalry or politeness isn't always respected, but it's usually accepted. In other words, when I hold the door open for that pretty young thing, she might get a snotty look on...
