    Which aluminum rockers to buy

I have Hughes 1.6 on my 408 with a solid cam. Geometry was spot on and after 700 miles the valve lash is still spot on. A hydraulic cam will be much quieter than a solid regardless of the rockers.

No top end power, need help

You need to figure out how much advance you are getting out of the distributor. Whats the timing when the engine is at 3000RPM?

    The Stroker Lives!!

I am still interested in the pipes but according to TTI I'll have to modify them to the outside of the frame rails because my springs are moved. I think my oil leaks were caused by the fact that my PCV valve wasn't hooked up and I didn't have a breather on the other valve cover. Probably had a...

    The Stroker Lives!!

Thanks, I'm really happy with it. It's the universal one from summit. Did quite a bit of cutting to get it to fit so well but I think it turned out great.

    The Stroker Lives!!

Finally fired up the 408 tonight and it sounds mean! Break in went pretty well except for some oil leaks. Oil actually filled up the bolt passages on the valve covers and ran out the top. Sealed up the threads and it seems to be fine now. Also seem to have a leak at the back of the intake...

    V8 motor mount ID help

I bought these from a member on here who said they were for a 360 into a 67 Dart. Well they are not. Guess I should have checked them back when I bought them months ago. Anyways.... I'd like to sell them and would like to be correct about their application (unlike the guy who sold them to me)...

    408 short block value

Yes, I believe it is that motor. I traded the pistons to Mad Dart for a set of KB icons. Yes, I know my pistons were worth a lot more but I got a good deal on the short block and just wanted to get the right pistons for my build.

    408 short block value

That was one of my main concerns. I do have some machinist's gauges so I could do a quick check on some of the dimensions. I would think that if he spent so much on the parts that he would have chose a really good machine shop but you never know.

That's why I made this thread, to figure out what it's worth. I would be willing to pay more but it's kinda of over built for what I have in mind

    408 short block value

Yeah I know, I wanted yours but it sold really quick. I actually emailed the guy and told him about your 402 for $2200 in hopes he would lower his price. How about the quality of the parts he has?
