Can anyone tell me the length of the alternator/fan belt that i need for a 71 318?

i got em all out. i just want to be very careful. my old intake was cracked so i just used a hammer claw to pop it off. now that i have a high dollar intake, i dont want to damage anything. im gonna work on it tomorrow. thanks guys

i went ahead and got a eddy 750 today. as soon as i get the motor back together, ill let you all know how it turns out. got wiring to deal with too. i decided on a 750 b/c the wifey wont be with me all the time. thanks for all the responses, charlie

my 318 is descent.it ran great before these upgrades. KB dome pistons $430, 360 heads-free with $350 dollar clean up job, cant remember cam but it was somewhere in about $250, eddy performer rpm air gap intake $265, eddy 1405 carb $270,heddman headers 50 bucks swap meet style,

im gonna slap it on there and see if the carb will do what i want it to do. im just gonna be cruising in it. probably put my old ladys head back in the seat here and there and no more. if it dont do that, ill be looking for something bigger. thanks for all the input

ive got everything done on my 318 except carb size. i bought a 600 eddy but am having doubts about it. my 318 is bored .40, 360 heads that have had some work done, edelbrock performer rpm airgap intake, heddman headers, and dome pistons. is 600 big enough?

alright. i pulled my heads off after i picked my motor up today. they didnt get cleaned so i need to clean them. i work on a plating line and we have a caustic cleaner tank. can i just put the whole head assembly in the tank or should i disassemble it? im not going to turn on the barrel rotation...

tomorrow i am gonna try to figure out what cam i have. I was reading up and from what i understand if the cam is a stock mopar cam it wont have any identification on it and ill have to measure it. what all do i have to measure? and if it is aftermarket, where would i be looking for a stamp at?

I gotta get that and my cam and then I'll really know what I'm working with? What do u think ideal cam would be?

The casting number on the heads of my 318 are 3715873 I don't know what heads those are and can't anything on the web. Can anyone help me out
