I recently posted a similar thread: http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=264198 Most likely due to cam and stock torque convertor. I'll be putting in a stall converter in two weekends and can confirm if it fixes the issue but my guess is it should.

I have a similar issue so I am curious to see how this pans out. @micboroff let me know if you diagnose the problem.
