    I have the dyno specs. I agree . Unfortunatly he used his carb . And I have no idea. I have had 3 different carbs on this motor. Same results. The expansion is why I bought adjustable rockers to see if that was a change . Same results

    The motor and cam was broke in properly on a dyno. I have tore cams up before. Proper lube and oil additive . Inner springs removed etc. Cam is good on the lobes and proper break in.

    Cam was reccomended by comp cams for a very mild street cam. Do you agree with their reccomendation? Timing is 36 all in. Vacuum does not change no matter what i do to the distributor. No this is a new cam, everything in the motor is new.

    Had a previous cam and lifter failure the new cam has maybe 6-8 hours on it. changed the oil at 6-8 hours there was quite alot of metal shavings more than you should have in break in. the cam is fine the motor did not get thoroughly flushed out when the new cam was put in, and 3-4 lifters...

    thanks rumblefish! no the heads have not been ported, just a fun car to take to cruise nights and lay some rubber with. putting the carpeting in this weekend we found out the heater core was leaking! luckily the old dodge only had a few bolts holding it all in.
