Yeah, I though of that too, but that chrome circle on the pass side is a breather, so It does have one. It could be leaking at lower rpm's, its just not as noticeable, maybe a PCV is the way to go

I noticed those dowel pins on my 73 when i did the manifold swap out. They just need to be plucked out because the new manifold isn't drilled for them. Pair of pliers is all you need!!

I sold the 318 out of my dakota with the headers still on it.... if I had only known how much of a pain the long tubes would be, I would of kept th e headers! I'm interested myself!

if you have the oil pan off you should be able to tap it out the opposite way from underneith with a hammer. Last time it happened to me I was able to get a corse thread bolt about the same diameter to thread in, and then I tapped it out with a hammer and screwdriver using the head of the bolt...

man didn't think of that! my problem is actually having to deal with the idler arm clearance, one header tube is directly in the way, but doing that may give me some room that I desperately need! Thanks for the tip!
