    That's what I was going to say. On my old '92 Dakota I ran it straight to the Battery so the fan would shut off only when it was cool enough. I would have rather wired it to a keyed power source than run another hot wire to a switch under the dash so I would have a way to keep it on while it was...

    Going with a '68 pump just adds more problems, because of the size differances all the pulleys would have to be changed for the cast water pump (differant offset). My '68 has been a nightmare to find pulleys for, On top of it being the cast iron water pump it's an A/C car to boot. I have it...
