I’m attempting to do the same. Do you have a picture of where the AC hoses were routed? I’m keeping my factory heater intact as well so the current heater box is still under the dash. I bought a bulkhead fitting but want to make sure I install it in a good place.

Has anyone installed a knee knocker along side their stock heater? Just wanted to get some ideas on. Punting location. I saw one posting with a knee knocker unit but it looks like the original heater box was removed. Anyone have a cool only unit that can share some pictures? My heater works...

I’m currently on the same boat. Was installing new dash vents and accidentally broke a pin. The slider that’s made out of plastic is also brittle. I can try to pull my assembly out and get you some dimensions.
