If the FlowKooler pump is aluminum you can run that. I had one and it worked fine......but it was all hype. A stock 8-blade pump works just as good if not better and is a LOT cheaper.

Put a 180* thermostat in it.....a 160 will not let the car warm up properly and can cause higher temps cause it will open and never close and not allow the radiator to fully do it's job.

I only run one of those universal shrouds....I only have that on there so the top of the fan blades are covered for safety.

I have one in my Duster......very nice rads. IIRC Griffen makes them for Jegs. It was 95* with 80+% humidty yesterday and with my viscious fan my car never got over 200* sitting in traffic waiting for an accident to clear.

What thermostat are you running too? You should be running a 180 or 195 temp T-stat. A 160 will have you over heating as well because it will never close and not allow the coolant to dump enough heat while in the radiator thus not letting the radiator actually do it's job. The viscious fan...

It states in the MP A engine book to stay away from the A/C pumps...you are supposed to use and 8-blade HD pump for a non-A/C car for extra flow.

I think my bypass hose is giving me false readings to my temp gauge.

Well I got the heater box and stuff out last night......only took me 30min. I didn't even pull the front seat. I took the fan nuts off and took that little plate over the heater core tubes off and gave it a little push and the thing fell out on the floor. I think somewhere along the cars life...

Do any of you guys know if the heater box, core, fan and controls can all be removed from my Duster without pulling the dash out? I don't have the heater core plumbed in any more so why carry around the extra 40 pds or so.

Empty it can't weigh more than 10lbs.....there is a "ledge" on the core support that the radiator is sitting on. The aluminum brackets are just holding it against the core support.

The radiator was cake.....maybe a couple of hours total and that's with making the brackets and painting them. Here is about the only pic I have right now of the radiator and fan. I even made my own fan mounts. At the top of the radiator you can see that mount and there are two on the bottom...
