I have about 1/2" clearance between clutch and rad. A v/8 shroud would be nice as that slant six shroud is tight. I can still grind and shift the shroud a bit more than I did ten years ago for the fixed fan.

I found this Imperial thermal standard duty fan clutch at Advance Auto(shuck's, Kragen), part number 215049, same dimensions as Hayden 2705. Hayden has the Imperial catalog on their website too, and the 215049 says "Made in the USA", Yeah!!! Part cost $29.99. Total height remained the same...

All of the pieces were the same size, that's a good sign I guess. The viscous fluid in the fan clutch should help absorb vibration from any slight imbalance I may have caused from trimming. The blades are aluminum which should make slight variances even less critical.

Yeah, I think it is the 2765 unit for an 86 Vanden Plas. I heard the snout hole is larger but it may come with an adapter for the smaller mopar water pump shaft.
