TTI 2 1/8 step headers question.

Sorry Maga, I was locked in on the wide sump pan thing. I figured more folks in the Race section would see the question & respond. Jeremiah, did you use a remote filter or just the external line?

TTI 2 1/8 step headers question.

Well, there we go. Jeremiah, thanks for clearing that up. Now I wonder what 'wider sump' pans TTI says may have interference problems?

Help needed to identify these headers

Thanks fellas, you've given me a lot to chew on. I guess I've got to do some more research.

Help needed to identify these headers

RB, Thanks for the insight. Why the Hookers over TTIs? How much of a power difference? Any other reason(s)? Any concern over the smallish collector on the Hookers - or does that work in the Hemi's favor?

TTI 2 1/8 step headers question.

Thanks for the update. I think the pans TTI was referencing were the 'road race' pans that have a wider kick out in the sump at the very bottom of the pan. I'll bet your SS pan & single external oil line will be fine. Maybe someone with a similar set up will chime in here & let us know for...

TTI 2 1/8 step headers question.

What did you find out? I'm at the point of making a decision to use the Milodon external pick up pan or the MP 6-Qt Hemi pan. Inquiring minds want to know. Appreciate you getting out in front of this.

    Doug’s or tti headers

I'd be interested in what you've done with the engine and what your goal is. Shorties are marginally better than factory manifolds but long tube headers beat both. I've always been a fan of Doug's with TTIs a very close second. Supertruck makes a good recommendation for the Schumacher Tri-Y's...

Help needed to identify these headers

Looking closely at the pictures provided in the listing by the seller, I could be persuaded the pri tubes are 2" based on the mic of the OD. However, the tape measure across the collector is well short of 3" - nothing close to the 4" of your prior set. I did find an old Hooker catalog from...

Pri tubes at 2.25? Were the collectors 3"? Do you remember anything else about them?

Help needed to identify these headers

Thanks for the replies! So, if I'm reading the thread 340Demon provided correctly, these are 1.875 pri tubes, fit B & C bodies & require manual steering? The suggestion by ch1II to get my hands on an old parts manual seems like the only way to get something definitive. FWIW, For what this...

Help needed to identify these headers

Seller says they're 2" pri & 3" collectors, mid-60's design. I contacted him & he says number on flange is 5202 but doesn't know more than that. I called Holley (who now owns Hooker) & tech said his records only go back to early 90's. Anyone know what these are & what they fit...
