i was gonna order some headers for my scamp. i looked on summit and there are summit ones for like 100 bucks and hedmans and hookers for like 150. i was gonna go hedman cuz they supposedly dont hang as low but would summit be ok...

from everything i have read they are good headers and hearold is a nice guy just has a lot of work and gets sidetracked lol. order them way ahead of time and order then cod. if you pay him first you save $25 a pair but chances are you will never get them. order cod and they usualy get there...

ya that should be salvageable. they might be a lil annoyed but that will be a lot easier then trying to bend all the pieces from scrap

checker sells adapters that would slip over the exhaust to connect it to the headers. like if your exhaust is 2 1/2 od get a double female connector that is 2 1/2 id and just slip them on and weld them. could u get a pic of the h pipe so we know what you have to work with?

i think you need a body manifolds. they dump at the right spots so exhaust is easy

personaly i have trouble spending that much on headers for a street car. my friends 440 nitrous street car runs stock manifolds and runs plenty fine and is a lot of fun. that is all i am looking for. i think thats why you havent found as much interest. tti makes high quality headers for our cars...

i have a 360 goin in my 75 scamp with the 833 4 speed. i want to go headers but i think it will hit the linkages. the tti ones look good but what have you all done? i might have to go auto for a little so would i be able to run the same exhaust for both?
