    Rear shackle angle

Out of curiosity, what is the source of this diagram? I don't recall seeing this in the chassis books I have.

    Pulls to right

This is a different experience than driving a modern car that's loaded up with electronic safety nets. I've had my fair share of alignments done on several different cars over the last 20 years. Not once has the tech told me that he needed to drive the car and, up until now, I have not had any...

    Pulls to right

Thank you for the input everyone. As far not letting the tech drive the car being dumb, you're welcome to your opinion. In order to properly wring it out and judge whether or not the alignment is going to work for this car, he would have to break the law on public roads to do it, not to mention...

    Pulls to right

Okay, so I should probably make sure that the issue is clear. I took the car in for an alignment because it was eating tires. This place had never touched the car before last weekend. Prior to being taken in, it was chewing up the insides of both front tires and went fairly straight, slightly...

    Pulls to right

The tire wear was on the inside of both tires. I don't have the before settings but I can tell you even though it ate tires, it went down the road straight before I had it aligned. The front suspension is stock with new bushings put in before I got the car a year and a half ago. It sits a bit...

    Pulls to right

Hey guys, I need some help here. I recently had a front tire snap a belt on my Duster and took it in to the shop my brother works at to get a pair of used tires swapped on and get the alignment done, since it's been chewing up tires as well. It is a street/strip car with 90/10 shocks and /6...

    Rear Shocks / SS Springs

I'm guessing drag racing? I've had decent luck with the CE 3-way adjustables with SS springs on the softest extension setting. I run the 2735, which is the longer of the two they offer for the rear of Mopars. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CEE-2735/ Ran a 1.72 60-foot on a 12.8 @ 103...

    Need help with spring location

Here you go...this should be the setup to move the springs in 3/4" or so on each side. Mancini Offset Shackle / Spring Hanger Special - "A" body I don't think there's much to it other than bolting on the hangers, shackles, and removing/installing spring perches on the axle tube.

    Raising the rear

I have another solution if you have access to a welder. Weld perches on the top side of the axle housing and move the axle from above to beneath the springs. That should give you about 2.5-3". I couldn't tell you what kind of impact that this would have on the driveline angles or how the...

    correct mopar suspension book?

I think this is the one that gets referred to a lot around here. Lots of good information, I have it on the shelf right behind my desk next to my Mopar Small Block book. Mopar Chassis - 9th Edition

How to correctly clamp leaf springs to hookup!

One thing I didn't see brought up is shock length. If you're using stock shocks, you'll probably want to pick up something longer. The stock length shocks may bottom out at full extension and cause the kind of behavior you're seeing. I've been using these shocks from Competition Engineering...
