    Stuck Torsion Bar, SERIOUSLY stuck

This stuffis great. When removing aircraft inspection pannels. It never fails that no matter where you start on the 50 machine screws. The last one is seized, always. :wack: Soak with Kriol, go for coffee. Presto! I'd like to see the rest of the car too.

    Stuck Torsion Bar, SERIOUSLY stuck

WOW! That's nasty. It looks like it is an Ontario, Canada car where there is no end to road salt. Soak the living Jeepers out of over a few days, have a beer (or two) & giver her 90!

Cutting strut rod bushings for correct geometry?

Yes, it looks like the thicker bushings are keeping the LCA from seating all the way in. Yes I installed strut rods first. No $ for shops right now. I'm a DIY guy learing from experanced guys like the ones above. My next plan is to remove everything. Replace the Energy Suspension Polies...

Cutting strut rod bushings for correct geometry?

Great info and thank you. I though I was going nuts when I replaced all my front bushings with Energy Suspension Poly's. My first clue something was not adding up was that the front nut on the drag link would not go past the hole where the roll pin was located. I though due to the bushing ES...

    Anti Sway Bar

So far everything went well until the end. Like removing and inspection pannel from a Boeing 737 that has 100 machine screws. They all come out but, the very last one. Murphy's law...lol.:wack: I've asked ADDCO about the alignment of the end link to aft end of the sway bar. Looks steep...

    Anti Sway Bar

Yesterday I started on my K member and installing the Addco front anti-sway bar kit. I expected for the price I paid to reflect what I got and that I would have to beef it up. I was right. The instructions could be much better and as a bolt on kit it’s kind of cheesy but, I’m going with it...

dart disk/upper A arm bush question

Farm Tools 101. I think I got the idea from a thread here. It ain't pretty but it works finner than the hair on a frogs back (Carol Shelby). My new disk kit came with new upper control arms containing made in Mexico rubber OEM type upper bushings. I replaced them with this rig to PST poly's...

Centre Link V8 vs. Slant six

Here is the centre link out of my 1969 Valiant Six-Oh-Matic. I'm installing a 408 Stroker via Schumacher mounts for the 5.9 Magnum block. From what I have read there is a differance in the centre links between the 6 and eight cylinder engines. Based on that I'm assuming this is a V8 centre...
